Have you found yourself slowly progressing from spring fever to the summer lazies? The doldrums of summer may have arrived but instead of drooping into complacency, let's catch on fire for Toastmasters

These are critical months and should be approached with enthusiasm and positive thought Our energy should be devoted to the effective management of our goals and objectives in Toastmastering

You may be a brand new Toastmaster or one of the old timers but until we follow an orderly course of action, we will achieve nothing The time for action is now If we wait until September, we will already be two months behind

Plan

Our time isvaluable and should not be treated lightly Time wasted is lost forever With this thought in mind we should now, not tomorrow, use our time economically by planning, organizing and controlling our thoughts for 1973-1974.

Planning requires:

1) Setting our objectives

2) Outlining the procedures for accomplishing our objectives

Organizing requires:

1) Analyzing the work necessary to accomplish our objectives

2) Arranging and correlating this work

Controlling requires:

1) Setting standards with which to compare the effectiveness and efficiency of our planning and organizing

2) Recognizing that our plan may encounter problems and being able to make adjustments to to overcome any problem

We can have another outstanding year in District 47 if we will only "MAKE ITHAPPEN."
