^VNOTHERToastmasters year hascome andgone! So many things have happened We have laughed, we have cried. We have travelled, we have made new friends. Through this whole experience we have grown I want to take this opportunity tothank the many GREAT TOASTMASTERS in District 47 whomade my position as Educational Lt Governor aneasy andpleasurable one
As I prepared for each District Conference, I would call fellow Toastmasters to present an educational session and serve in various capacities -judges, timers, counters In most cases, ONEcall was allthat wasnecessary Conference time rolled around and allof you took your places of responsibility Thank youoneand all!
If you found theeducational sessions lacking, please let meknow so that I can work with theincoming Educational Lt Governor in developing the type of programs you desire If you found the educational sessions fulfilling andbeneficial, thank the many presentersthat did an outstandingjob
I also wish to take this opportunity to apologise for my lack of visibility in the final months of my tenure. New direction and responsibilities inmypersonal business demanded more of my time during the weekends This mademy participation in Toastmas- " ters activities difficult It is for these reasons I also made the difficult decision last November notto continue onto District Governor I want to congratulate thenew Governor I want tocongratulate the new slate ofofficers as they prepare to lead our District
Thank the many presenters that did an outstanding job!
The memories and the friendships that have been developed over the past years that I served the District in the various positions are great I enjoyed serving and look forward to acontinued involvement in the District
Thanks for the memories!
