Advanced Leader Silver Achieved Advanced Leader Bronze award (or “old” Competent Leader award)  Served a term as an Area Governor (or other District Officer)  Completed the High Performance Leadership programme  Served successfully as a club sponsor, club mentor or coach. 


High Performance Leader Project 

A more significant leadership project  You

get out what you put in  Should be a stretch target for you  Its an exercise of your leadership capability  It’s a personal training programme for you 

Typically 5 to 12 months with 5 phases


What kind of project? 

Enhancing an aspect of your Club or Area   

Builds membership Enhances education Builds standards

Improves an aspect of your organisation  Develops something in your community  Develops a bridge between Toastmasters and the outside community 


How big a project? Consider your current leadership capability  How big is your appetite?  How compelling is your vision?  Remember – it is often better to keep a tight scope, but to do it well  Remember – you may face challenges and ‘dark’ moments 
