Public speaking made fun Spa Speakers is a new speakers club starting in Leamington Spa. This is a great opportunity for anyone who needs to speak to people in either a business or personal role to gain experience and grow in confidence. Club members are encouraged to develop speaking, listening and critical thinking skills at their own pace and to take part in entertaining meetings programmes. Demonstration meetings will be taking place on Thursday 5th and Wednesday 11th February at Helen Ley Care Centre, between Leamington and Kenilworth. Subsequent meetings will be on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays in the month starting on the 25th February. There is no charge for visitors. Develop your skills and gain internationally recognised qualifications in communications and leadership. Martyn Tilson acting President said “When I joined a club in Oxford I gained so much confidence, both in my work and private life, and no longer dread hearing “”Martyn would like to say a few words””. I wanted to give others the same opportunity locally and decided to help start this new club” Spa Speakers is part of Toastmasters International, a not for profit organisation, and the club is open to anyone over 18.
