Barlow Tyrie produces stylish and practical outdoor furniture in contemporary and heritage designs, using quality materials and traditional craftsmanship combined with excellent customer service. Our designers and craftsmen create ‘modern-classics’ in teak, stainless steel and aluminium with the quality, style and comfort that have become the hallmark of our ethos.

Barlow Tyrie started production in 1920 and is the oldest British teak wood outdoor furniture manufacturer.

We only use the finest materials available, which are tested and approved to the appropriate British and Industry Standards for safety and strength. Our range of furniture includes many pieces that have won international design awards and are frequently copied classics. We have diversified in recent years to develop collections in a variety of quality materials, which we combine with both traditional and innovative construction methods.

Innovation and development combined with our manufacturing knowledge and experience results in products that are constructed to the highest standard with exceptional longevity.

We use the highest grade of FLEGTlicenced teak wood and hardware made from solid brass or where strength dictates, marine grade stainless steel.

All products are designed in-house with re-use and sustainablity in mind, discouraging single-use plastics and food waste. We aim to utilize eco-friendly materials in our products and packaging as far as practically possible.

Having been founded in 1998 in London our products are sold through a wide variety of retailers in over 60 countries worldwide. We have warehouse centres in the UK and the USA.

Following successes in various product categories, our focus is now firmly on further developing our fast growing and internationally popular food & drink on-the-go range. Both of these sectors are benefitting from growing consumer trends, notably in the areas of health, wellness, and ecological awareness.
