The Natural Life range from Tower is an RKW owned brand, created to provide consumers with a range of functional, stylish products that are also sustainable and eco-friendly. Packaging is also kept to a minimum, and Natural Life solely uses responsibly sourced materials and organic inks.

RKW uses the Natural Life brand to show that even small changes can have a big impact, such as investing in a kitchen cleaning set made with sustainably sourced beech wood, instead of a traditional plastic alternative.

We are an established, independent, family business, that creates elegant, durable and meaningfully made products with their design and manufacture rooted in Scotland.

In our commitment to minimise our impact upon the environment, we are constantly reassessing our packaging, ensuring that we use recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible and creating a box which not only impresses when it’s received, but which looks good enough to be reused to store all manner of items for many years to come.

In 2017 we were introduced to laser printing. These high-spec machines are real workhorses, each capable of producing over 190 products per day. Emma our design director uploads her intricate hand-drawn designs into the machine’s operating system and a member of our manufacturing team loads the slate and oak pieces into the machine, which then uses a precision point laser to engrave the design onto the slate.

Skyeskyns is a business born from crofting and a passion for transforming a meat industry waste-product into durable and luxurious sheepskins using the traditional craft of tanning. We have been tanners and suppliers of sheepskins from the beautiful Isle of Skye for 40 years. Combining family, tradition, craftsmanship, natural fibres and style, we produce and source the highest quality of sheepskin and wool homewares.

We are a traditional sheepskin tannery and use mimosa tree bark tanning to produce our completely natural sheepskins.

We are an artisan business, working a small sustainable scale for our production. Our tree bark tanning mixes ancient techniques and modern sustainability, supplemented by our use of a reed bed for effluent filtering, where the resulting compost is then spread on our growing woodland onsite, on our croft. Skyeskyns is about handcrafted items from our sheepskins to the home accessories our in-house seamstresses produce.
