Wednesday, February 24, 2016 8:00 am – 5:30 pm InflammAging – Clinical Care Practices that Improve Health Outcomes Recent clinical research has identified specific new metabolic pathways that help resolve inflammation and return the body to a normal response level. This control and response system effects critical conditions ranging from cardio metabolic to cognitive performance and involve a variety of physiological systems including the digestive system. The role of the human microbiome has also been shown to influence these processes and responses and play an important role in overall management of health conditions. While these systems and solutions will be reviewed, new clinical tools will be discussed and the role of precision medicine to enhance patient care and responses of these systems will also be presented with clinical practice guidelines and algorithms for applications in the clinic.
