Operation Education: National Reading Day January 23rd, 2017 is National Reading Day! Get your club involved on the district level and in improving the lives of kids in your community by participating. We encourage clubs to get involved by going to read to children at a local elementary school. Ideally, clubs could raise or collect books by donation that could be read to these children and then donated to the school’s library. Get connected with Scholastic, our partner in Operation Education, if your club is in need of books! By participating, your club is on its way to getting a District Project Participation Patch at D-CON. If you get 15 total service hours and 25% of your club to participate on this one day, you will qualify for a patch! Let us know you participated by tagging @tokeyclub on Twitter, todistrictkeyclub on Instagram, or with the hashtag #tokeyclubreads.
