EDITOR'S NOTE Hello Mighty Tigers,

August the dreaded month for many, due to the school season quickly approaching, however it means a new newsletter! I hope everyone is doing okay. School is coming in a new way for us but I know we can all look at the positives like SLEEPING IN FOR LONGER! I need to get my sleep schedule fixed asap though, so that is what I'll be working on these few weeks. Like always stay safe and ALWAYS WEAR YOUR MASK!!!! paw-roud to serve you,

nicole javier

Aloha Tigers, Can you believe we're already saying our goodbyes to summer break and hello to a new school year? It still feels like I'm stuck in 11th grade and nothing hasn't changed at all. With school being right around the corner, shift those lazy bones into getting things done! I know it's easier said than done (and I definitely cannot follow my own piece of advice), but it's good to know that we are all going through one universal struggle: COVID-19. Things will be okay! It may not look like it right now, but it will in the future. Remember 2012? We all thought the world was going to end. . .but here we are. . . Anyway, I'm proud of what has been accomplished as of right now! Now that it's August, start recruiting those members! We may not be able to see each other physically, but just a simple video call means a ton. Just a reminder, guys. . .but I love you<3 Serving to the moon and back,

FOOD DISTRIBUTION PAGEÂ 07

Despite what's happening right now, our club is coming up with plans to continue our service. In regards to food pantries, I like how each bags/boxes are distributed to families that are in need. It makes me happy to see how our service is influential to the community. For me, helping people is doing these little deeds such as food distributions. Therefore, a bag of groceries brings happiness and love to the community. Additionally, it affects me because I have friends and relatives who rely on food pantries, and it's always nice to reach out for them and be for them; especially right now. - JD Ramos, Marina PAGEÂ 08

I really enjoyed the July DCM! Although it sadly wasn’t able to be held in person due to COVID it was overall pretty fun. I saw many familiar as well as some new, and unexpected faces, which is always a good thing! The t-shirt design for this term was also announced, congratulations to the designer and thank you to the other two members who also submitted designs, you are greatly appreciated! The service event went great, I drew a whale hehe but I made the mistake of drawing too lightly so you weren’t really able to see it on camera. In the end, it was a really great bonding experience with the division and everyone who was able to attend! <3 - Jesuseduardo Garcia, Seaside
