Welcome to the monthly issue of "The Tiger Times" for March! And Spring, the prettiest season of all is here! Speaking of, which flower is your favorite? Though it may be difficult time to go outside, I truly hope that this issue, even in the tiniest bit, gets you in to the spring feeling and brighten your day! As this key club term comes to an end, there may be things that you regret, or might wish you would have done different but I think it's safe to give ourselves a pat on the back for hanging on and pushing through in these difficult times! I hope that you all have a wonderful month!!

Come forth, spring season! Can you believe it's already March? One more month and I must pass the responsibilities as Lieutenant Governor to our lovely Suyeon! I hope you all will treat her well and take care of her, as I know she will accomplish HUGE things in the next term. With that being said, please be sure to attend the last DCM of this term which will be held on March 20th and the Division Banquet in April! This entire term has been a rollercoaster, filled with lots of frustration and good moments. Monterey "For the month of January, Monterey Highs service projects were the Kiwanis Food Distribution Help at Monterey, Zooniverse Research Service Project, and The Kiwanis Early Literacy Project. For the Kiwanis Food Distribution, a hand full of Key Clubbers volunteered at the Monterey County Food Bank in Salinas. For the Zooniverse Research Service Project, Key Clubbers took surveys online to help Research Scientists. As for the Kiwanis Early Literacy Project, Key Clubbers screen shared and recorded a video of themselves reading a Children’s Book. Sumer Zahra introduced herself and read three books. She read, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Flat Stanley, and Clifford Makes The Team!" - Dezirae Jade Fernandez

“Valentine Cards for Nursing Homes was a lovely event online, where members made and decorated cards to give to seniors at the nursing homes. We hope that during these difficult times, that we are able to bring a smile to people's faces.
