LTG LETTER Happy February, Tigers! Love is in the air; whether it be with friends, family, or lover. LOVE YOURSELF THIS MONTH! Can you believe we already have an elect now? I hope you all will take very good care of Suyeon! I've seen her grown from a little pea baby to a strong President of San Benito Key Club. With that being said, as we are now in the preparation for the next term, consider running for a position next year! It doesn't hurt to get interested and look more into further deepening your Key Club experience as an officer. I hope these next few months will treat you all well. Don't give up just yet and keep pushing through!<3 With a PAW-some amount of love,
Caitlenn Frofunga

MONTEREY "For the month of December Monterey Highs service projects were the Charity Miles Service Event, Kiwanis Salvation Bell Ringing Service, UNICEF Math Fundraiser, and Candy Grams. Dezirae Jade Fernandez raised 18.75 while both running and walking a total of 75 miles for the month of December! Monterey Key Club sold candy grams both in and out of the school community! Anahi Matias Sandiago was able to raise $100.25!" - Dezirae Jade Fernandez “Although it was tough walking around neighborhoods to sell candy, it was worth it when we saw one or two faces light up to encourage our acts. In the end, it felt rewarding to have raised funds for PTP and to have gotten a little exercise during this time. - Angela Tan
SAN BENITO “Pictures with Santa was such a merry event and an awesome service event. Me and the other volunteers helped set up and pass out Christmas goodie bags. It was really nice seeing families getting into the holiday spirit! I would definitely go again in the future” - Suyeon Hwang “Myself and other key clubbers set up decorations at veterans hall and handed out premade gift bags to the children after their photo with santa. I really loved that I got to spread the holiday spirit and work with the lovely people of city recreation.” - Jovanna Huerta, “At Pictures With Santa I was able to pass out goodie bags to hundreds of kids with Jovanna and Suyeon for those who took a picture with Santa in front of the Vets Hall. I really liked seeing the kids being able to still feel festive despite the conditions of COVID-19. I’m happy families had the chance to make their kids happy.” - Marissa Escamilla "The Key Club social was a fun and exciting day. All of us participated in these fun games which were: bingo, guessing songs, hangman but snowman, and jeopardy. I would rate it a 10/10. The social made my day way better!" - MJ Bagaoisan
