letter from Hello Corgis! With the holiday season coming around, I hope that you are all not too stressed. Especially during quarantine, I know things can get difficult so always remember to surround yourself with a support system and take breaks. To my seniors, make the most of your last key club term and good luck on college apps! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the division, you have all motivated me to work harder and strive for bigger things. Thank you for doing the simplest of things like attending meetings, doing service projects, and participating. It truly means the world to me. This year has been pretty tough but I know we can get through it. Many of us have been experiencing burnout, so remember to make time for doing things you love. I believe in you! Each and every single one of you is so amazing, and there is always room to grow. As always, if you ever need someone to talk to I am always here for you. Never hesitate to reach out whether it be about Key Club or anything else! Remember to stay safe and hydrated, you’ve got this!

PAWSING FOR SERVICE,

shanelle relucio

letter from Hi Corgis! The holidays are just around the corner, so I hope you are all ready for the semester to be over with! Make sure you are staying on top of your grades and are studying hard to finish this year out strong! I know this year has been a struggle for many of us, but we’ve made it this far. I’m proud of each and every one of you for persevering through these difficult times, and I’m so glad we’ve finally made it to the start of a new year. Things may be changing with the new president elect, the creation of a COVID-19 vaccine, and the different styles of education (online vs. in-person), but I believe in you! You can do this! For those of you who are seniors, coming from a fellow senior, I hope you got your college applications in on time! Most colleges’ deadlines were late November/early December, so if you submitted your applications, congratulations! Relax, take some time for yourself, and breathe while we make it take winter break to rest. You deserve it! For everyone else, I hope you have a happy holidays no matter what you celebrate, and have a great rest of your year! See you next year! PAWSING FOR SERVICE,

jasmine le

On Sunday, November 15th, our region held a joint social with all six divisions from Regions 11 and 12 combined! It was Peppa Pig themed, and D05N, D05S, D46N, D46S, D18E, and D33 all attended the social. At the social, the LTG’s of each division were introduced, we sent “Lovebox” notes to other key clubbers, we played a scavenger hunt in breakout rooms with people from every division, and finally, the LTGs gave heartfelt speeches about the each other.

- division council meeting The November DCM was a joint DCM with Division 44 from the PNW district! At the DCM, D44 joined us to listen to a guest speaker, CNH Strategic Planning Committee Chair Irin Shim, participate in a service project, notes of affirmation, and play a game, Codenames, in breakout rooms.

DIVISION SERVICE WEEK november The Division Service Week was held during Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 23 through Nov. 27. Each day, 4 hours of service was offered for members to participate in either independently or on the division Discord server with other corgis. Members who had free time during their break were able to contribute to the many different service projects that were offered during the week and were able to meet new key clubbers from the division as well!

happy thanksgiving!

Key Club Week was Nov. 2 through Nov. 6. Each day placed an emphasis on service; for example, Thursday was Random Acts of Kindness themed. Everyone who participated was able to show our community what Key Club is truly about!

- fundraiser To raise funds for PTP, our division held a “pie in the face” fundraiser. People were able to donate $3-$5 to see our LTG, Shanelle Relucio, or two of our DLT members, Alex Jenkins and Jonah Bedouch, get pied in the face. Check our instagram, @d05ncorgis, for more info on how to donate/videos of them getting pied!

IT’S FOR CHARITY!

Candidate Training Conference (CTC) is on Dec. 12 from 1-6PM. Key clubbers can learn about what a Lieutenant Governor does and how they can run to become one. If you are interested in becoming LTG, this is a great opportunity!

If you aren’t planning on becoming an LTG, CTC is still a great way to learn more about the ins and outs of Key Club and what it means to be a leader for Key Club. You can meet other passionate Key Clubbers there and fulfill a training event for MRP!

To sign up, you can use our linktree, linktr.ee/division05north. If you want more information about CTC, you can check our instagram, @d05ncorgis or email our LTG, Shanelle Relucio, at d05n.cnhkc.ltg@gmail.com.
