Letter from your Lt.G What’s up Turtle Squad! .

I hope you’re all enjoying AP/IB testing season! In these past two months, we’ve achieved so much! It was great getting to see a bigger group of you all at the April DCM. I had so much fun getting to meet and hang out with you all! As we get closer to the end of the year, don’t forget to keep up the hard work! I’d like to give a shout out to Westview Key Club for hosting a successful Night Strike! Unfortunately, I could not attend, but based off the feedback I heard it was super successful!. Also, congratulations to Kyra DelaChica from AHS for being appointed as our District Project Director. I’m so glad to see our division well represented on the district board this year! I hope to see you all at the Senior Send off! This DCM will be thanking the graduating seniors for their years of service! Be sure to check out the FB page for more details! In love and service,

DIVISIONAL BOARD EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – JULIA DAYTON Hello, I'm Julia from Southridge HS, and I'm the Executive Assistant! I'm so honored to be part of such a beautiful community as Key Club. I like listening to classical music, playing piano, debating, and, of course, volunteering! I am so honored that I get to work with such an amazing group of talented people, and I hope we can make this year the best ever, one turtle at a time!

FUNDRAISING CHAIR – ROSIE NGUYEN Hi! I am a weird person with a love for anything food or disney related. Fun fact – I have generally watery eyes and can sometimes make tears come out if I try hard enough. I’m super open to ideas and am always down to try something new!

HISTORIAN – KRISTEN CORPUZ Hey guys, my name is Kristen Corpuz and I will be serving as your Divisional Historian for 2016-2017! I am looking forward to meet you all at volunteering events or at DCMs! My job is to take pictures of your wonderful faces at events and such :) I enjoy volunteering, meeting and making new friends, and have a huge obsession with corgis. Feel free to ask me questions or talk to me on social media, I promise I won't bite!

SPIRIT COORDINATOR – MARK HUYNH Hi! I'm a pretty cool person that enjoys sunny days and food. My hobbies are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and best of all key club! Criticism is something I get a lot so don't be scared to talk to me.

SPIRIT COORDINATOR – SANRITA UNG Hello! I'm a pretty boring person but I looove anything with noodles. I'm Pretty obsessed with studio ghibli movies like I can watch them over and over again and still love all of them. Even though I'm quite shy, I'm always willing to step out of my comfort zone and do something I thought I would never do.

Hey PNW District Key Clubbers, I’m Tiffany Wong and am thrilled to be serving you all as your District Secretary. Since stepping into Key Club, I’ve always strived to establish personal connections with each individual. It’s a value that I continue carrying on today, and I hope to provide connection and communication for every secretary. My goals are to recognize secretaries on a monthly basis for their continuous efforts, to share advice and tips for officers, and to provide higher platforms of member input all over the district. Serving as a friend, not as a superior, has always been my focus, and I hope to continue that idea in what I do. I’m excited to work with you as friend who can assist you in any way possible, so please never hesitate to contact me!

What’s Poppin PNW? My name is Kyra DelaChica and I am so excited to announce that I will be serving as your 16/17 District Projects Director! My job as Projects Director is to helpfundraise and educate you guys on our upcoming district project (TBA)! One of my main goals as P.D is to get direct information from the leaders of the organization and meet personally with those affected by this project so that you guys will be able to see how much we can really change the lives of others. By working with Audrey and the rest of the board, I hope to create fun informational videos/resources for you all to use to not only learn more about it, but also teach others too! I am so honored to have been appointed P.D and can’t wait to meet you all at the summer rallies and next year’s DCON! If you have any questions about my role as projects director, or would like to talk to a friend, feel free to email or message me any time!

Greetings PNW! I'm Georgia Cato and I am honoured to be serving as your Kiwanis Family Relations Director for the 2016-2017 term. This year is going to be extraordinary. With the Five-Year Plan already in full motion, my goal is to further strengthen the connection between all the branches of Kiwanis. With implementing more interclubs throughout the district, this will create and ensure the strong bond we have with our Kiwanis Family. Above all, you will be able to connect with other Student Leadership Programs who all root themselves with the genuine satisfaction that comes from service. It’s truly a privilege to be working alongside such a dynamic team of individuals. I've already encountered many enthusiastic executives and motivated members, so with this strong team of dynamic Key Clubbers, we can work together to create the best this district has ever seen. If you have any questions or just want to talk, please do not hesitate to reach out to me, I’m only a message away!

Hello there my fellow PNW District Key Clubbers, Stella Gonzalez is the name and Key Club is my game. Service is something I have always valued over all other traits and I am very excited to serve as your Membership Growth and Reactivation Director for this upcoming year. Even though my title may seem long, convoluted and frivolous I assure you that my job is to help you guys make all of your jobs easier. My role will be to help charter new clubs, reactivate suspended or inactive clubs, and to generally oversee the growth of our very own Key Club family. Yes, I have a goal in mind to the amount of key clubbers I would like our district to achieve this year; but what is more important to me are the kind of people and personality traits we are adding into our district. The words you will hear from me a lot are -”quality over quantity” and that is a personal philosophy of mine that I think will apply well into the PNW District.

Hey PNW Key Clubbers! My name is Vivia Zhu and I am so excited to be serving as one of your 2016-2017 District Convention Aides! My primary role is to assist the Convention Chair in planning, organizing, and improving next year’s DCON. It is my utmost priority to ensure that every attendee has a smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience. Our team has already begun its preparations for DCON 2017, so be on the lookout for updates! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact Convention Chair Amy Hung or one of the Convention Aides. With that being said, I look forward to seeing all of you next year at the 68th Annual District Convention in Portland, Oregon!

Hey Key Clubbers! My name is Jonah Tang and I am pleased to be working as your 2016-2017 Convention Aide! As Vivia already summarized, I am here to assist with the planning and execution of next year’s District Convention. I am pleased to say that we have already begun planning, and I am looking forward to helping create one of the most unforgettable experiences you will have during your Key Club career. A little bit about me: I play tennis, mock trial (can I use that as a verb?) and eat food. Lots of food. If you have any questions, suggestions, or you just want to say hi, you can contact me! I’m human just like the rest of you, and I’m always looking for a new friend. I look forward to hearing from all of you and seeing you at the 68 Annual District Convention in Oregon!

Anna Liu is one of the most dedicated and hardworking seniors in our club. Since the very beginning, she has been volunteering countless hours and just her love for giving back to the community truly portrays the Key Club spirit!

Maria Tielo is also one of the very few seniors who still takes time out of her day to volunteer. Despite being a senior with her busy schedule, she’s able to consistently volunteer for most of the events organized. Way to set the example for the rest of her peers!
