cALIBre ML 230 MAsterPIece GrAVItY the maurice lacroix masterpiece gravity utilises the very latest cutting-edge technology, silicon. maurice lacroix’s head of movement construction, michel vermot, in collaboration with haute ecole arc, based in le locle, was the first person to develop and produce a complete assortment made in silicon. the silicon assortment includes the balance staff, pallet lever, pallet staff, escapement wheel and escapement wheel pinion. silicon, a self-lubricating, glass-like material, is three times lighter than steel. the low mass consumes less energy, is more accurate and does not require regular lubrication.

the frequency of the maurice lacroix automatic manufacture calibre ml230 is 18,000 vph (2.5hz). it is a cadence that is ideally suited for silicon as it proves gentler to the glass-like substance than those experienced in some higher oscillating movements. the brand has minimised the number of components to 188, avoiding unnecessary parts and, by default, providing a clean appearance and enhanced reliability. maurice lacroix is, understandably, very proud to feature a complete assortment produced in silicon. the calibre ml230 is its 13th manufacture movement, reaffirming the company’s know-how and technical progress.

Before one of our watches leaves the factory, it will be once again subjected to an exact quality control by watchmakers, and with the aid of most modern technologies. The specially issued certificate also guarantees first-class quality and perfect function. For 24 months following the date of purchase, the guarantee work is quickly and reliably carried out at all acknowledged service points â&#x20AC;&#x201C; wherever you happen to be at any time.

Care Give regular attention to the external appearance of your Maurice Lacroix by wiping dirt from its surdial with a fine cloth. To keep a metal or gold strap longer in its full glory, you should occasionally clean it with soap and water. If you chose a model with a leather strap, please consider that we use exclusively real leather for our straps, and they should not be brought into contact with water. In this way you ensure that the beauty of your Maurice Lacroix is longlasting. Servicing mechanical movements Our watchmakers take care of the complex inner-life of your mechanical watch. Every check comprises many individual steps. The watch is carefully dismantled. Dried lubrification is removed. Filigree motion work is freshly oiled, the seals replaced, the escapement newly regulated. The watchmaker finally brings every Maurice Lacroix to a high polish for you. After service of your watch, another 24 months warranty will be applied.

Products bearing the Maurice Lacroix name offered for sale on Internet could be eather counterfeits, damaged, second-hand watches or of doubtful origin. Our official Maurice Lacroix international guarantee of two years and the after-sales service assistance of our network of service centers are reserved to watches complete with official and duly filled Maurice Lacroix warranty card. Battery replacement You will have no unpleasant surprises with a Maurice Lacroix quartz watch.
