Math Buddy LLC is an innovative educational services company established in 2007 for developing research based technology solutions to help students all over the world learn math concepts better. It has corporate office in Vadodara, India, and a branch office in Ann Arbor, MI. The vision is to make quality educational tools affordable and accessible worldwide. The mission is to develop best in class educational tools to help both learners and educators achieve their goals, and to make teaching and learning Maths a lot more fun. The flagship product Math Buddy @School Math Lab is installed in schools as a virtual Math lab to help teachers teach Maths through activities and for children to interactively learn concepts by playing with the activities. This is supplemented by an online portal Math Buddy Online to help students continue the learning from the comfort of their homes. In India, the curriculum is based on NCERT and every topic is made easy to learn through research based activities that relate Math topics to real life examples. The role of a teacher becomes that of a facilitator in the classroom, and every child in the classroom wants to participate when learning with Math Buddy. Having spent the initial years in developing and refining the content, as well as test marketing in some key schools across India, this is our first year when we plan to take Math Buddy lab to schools across India. Our goal is to install Math Buddy @School Lab in at least 250 schools and generate 10,000 subscriptions during the 2010-2011 academic year.
