BA HONS FASHION COMMS + STYLING

The BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Styling course encourages and develops individuality, to creatively think and apply the essentials to styling and image making across a range of technical and creative practices.

The course allows opportunities to progress skills in visual research, art direction, illustration, photography as well as project management preparing students for industry as creative visual communicators and practitioners.

Students combine their passion for image making and storytelling with a focus on how the fashion industry identifies target audiences, customers and then engages them on the global, lifestyle, multimedia stage.

FOOTWEAR DESIGN BA (HONS)

The Footwear Design course delivers insight into the traditional craft of shoemaking combined with 3D design technologies using state-of-the-art facilities, including immersive VR equipment.

We have impressive industry links enabling students to work on live projects with global brands, enter prestigious competitions nationally and internationally, and develop their own unique footwear design under the expert guidance of our experienced staff.

FASHION DESIGN BA (HONS)

Fashion Design at De Montfort University (DMU) is a dynamic course which inspires students to explore the relationship between design and technology. We blend theory with practice, fostering creativity within a theoretical and philosophical framework.

Our graduates meet the demands of the fashion industry and can confidently navigate the boundaries between creativity, technology and design. As an acknowledged leader in creative education, we work tirelessly to give our students a rich and rewarding experience.

FASHION AND TEXTILES MA

Our MA is a research, practice based and design led adventure for experienced fashion, textile, intimate apparel, footwear and accessories designers and creatives. You will learn from an expert teaching team, active in their own fields and maintain links with current designers and industry.

We provide a stimulating environment for highly motivated, dedicated and innovative graduates from fashion and textile design disciplines to take their development to the next level of creative innovation.
