Continuous improvement

As ripening is our core business, we continuously strive to optimize the process. We make use of technological advancements and gather data to measure progress.

Liquidseal and shelf life

Shelf life is very important to the end consumer. Implementing Liquidseal with our growers has extended shelf life. It results in less waste in retail stores and less waste for consumers in the home.

In our warehouse we have a Maf Roda sorting machine which sorts avocados by ripeness. This helps to create a homogeneous batch for customers. We intend to integrate flowpacking to optimise process flow.

Capacity of 35000 pieces per hour.

Operations / Packaging

Flexibility as standard

We offer a broad portfolio of alternative packaging formats.

Sustainability Packaging

Sustainability lies at the heart of all that we do in Dole Exotics. Removing and reducing plastic from our packaging is a key priority for our business. Already we have removed plastic inlays from our products, replacing them with carton alternatives. We have further invested in mono-material packaging and specifically a packing machine to produce wholly recyclable twinpacks that will go to market in Q3, 2022.

We offer customized packaging solutions for our clients across Europe.
