Rocafort CESO V explained the importance of the 7S of Good Housekeeping as preparation to ISO. He added, “In our ISO, do not think of the structure because we can start even our buildings are not yet finished. Now, there are no more employees waiting in my office with their documents to be signed by me. Every document is recorded in the records

I can see the orderliness of the processing of documents .” Mrs. Macaria Carina Carandang,EPS-1 TLE, gave some mechanic s and guidelines of the 7S activities and contests. She was assigned to spearhead this activity. She mentioned some Tagalog quotes in line with good housekeeping like “Lugar Ko, Linis Ko, Everyone is a janitor, etc.” She also enumerated the activities to be done for the rest of the day like visiting all the section

You are all invited by Mam Laine Ortega to visit the Budget Section to see the implementation of the 7S as starting point of ISO, “ -Mrs. Carandang offices to be checked and contests in the afternoon such as postermaking, logo making and slogan contest in line with the theme. This will be participated by the employees of the section offices. She stressed that the Budget Section is no longer included in the competition because this office has started with the 7S of Good Housekeeping. There will be ribbon cutting in the said section. She announced that next week, there will be another section to be assessed-the office of the Legal Section by Atty. Kharen Salimo, followed by the Accounting Office. The second part of the kick-off ceremony was the ribbon-cutting in the Budget Section. The Documentation Staff - Mrs. Zenaida M. Delos Santos, Mr. Toriano Digno, Mr. Michael Villanueva and Mr. Domcar Lagto interviewed Mrs. Layne Ortega, Chief of the Budget Section how they were able to observe the 7 S of Good Housekeeping. Mrs. Ortega said, “From the old or former office,

we transferred and later they sorted out all
the documents they got. We placed the old
documents in the Pantry section and placed the new ones in filing boxes then put the
boxes in a cabinet. Some of their decorations were from the BPHCA like the paintings . Then we cleaned the place well .” We also asked her where she got the new tables and the side tables of the staff. Mrs. Ortega answered, “We have to spend personally if we want to have a beautiful and convenient office.” She added that she felt happy although they became tired of cleaning the said office. People who came inside the Budget Office were surprised to see the great change or transition of the place. It was very clean and organized , really gearing to ISO. After lunch, the contest for the aforementioned theme was held. There were Poster-Making, Slogan Making and Logo Making. The participants came from the different sections of the SDO except the Budget Section.
