Hon. Hermilando I. Mandanas, Provincial Governor gave his inspirational message to the players and coaches. This was followed by the lighting of the Friendship Torch by Palarong Pambansa Gold Medalists Mark Joshua Capuli, Rebecca Cuerdo, King Cedric Alabastro and Patricia Ann Mendoza.

Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Carlito D. Rocafort delivered his message to everybody wherein he mentioned the theme “One Dream, One Goal, One Division�. He also declared the Opening of the 2017 Division Sports Competition.

The release of balloons signifies peace and sportsmanship. The Unity dance, Wellness Campus Dancercise ended the program.

The games were held at different venues at San Pascual and Bauan Districts. The billeting houses of the athletes and coaches were at the different schools of the two districts.

The 2017 Division Sports Meet has begun. Anchored on the theme “One Dream, One Goal, One Division” this sports competition aims to foster unity and cooperation among athletes, coaches and teams.
