The hoisting of the Division Flag was done by Mr. Mario B. Maramot, OIC-CID Chief while the District Flags were raised by the PSDS and Sports Coordinator of each district. Patricia Ann Mendoza, ASEAN Gold Medalist for Basketball Girls led the Oath of Amateurism for the athletes while Mr. Jimmy J. Morillo, EPS1MAPEH led the Oath for Officiating Officials. Hon. Hermilando I. Mandanas, Provincial Governor gave his inspirational message to the players and coaches. This was followed by the lighting of the Friendship Torch by Palarong Pambansa Gold Medalists Mark Joshua Capuli, Rebecca Cuerdo, King Cedric Alabastro and Patricia Ann Mendoza.
Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Carlito D. Rocafort delivered his message to everybody wherein he mentioned the theme “One Dream, One Goal, One Division�. He also declared the Opening of the 2017 Division Sports Competition. The release of balloons signifies peace and sportsmanship. The Unity dance, Wellness Campus Dancercise ended the program. The games were held at different venues at San Pascual and Bauan Districts. The billeting houses of the athletes and coaches were at the different schools of the two districts.
