D O M E N I C O F R A N C H I - S TA G E A N D P R O D U C T I O N D E S I G N E R - C O S T U M E D E S I G N E R I work with great passion designing spaces, environments, installations, sets and clothes for the theater, opera, cinema and contemporary art. I search experimentation and “contamination” of languages aiming at the realization of a univocal effective sign. In my approach to work I always try to operate at a creative level that exceeds my own expectations. In over 25 years I have realized more than 150 projects in all areas of entertainment and visual arts. This has led me to collaborate with artists of all disciplines, but I can certainly say that the experience gathered beside the master Ezio Frigerio was professionally the most decisive. Often in my career I have led teams of professionals, since 2009 I’m
the creative director of AREA BIANCA Concept Factory, this valuable experience has matured in me the idea that the human being, when communicating peacefully and with respect for others, is able to develop extraordinary ideas ... Man ... is the focus of my work as a visual artist, I am interested in investigating the specific qualities of the individual, regardless of his education, social class, ethnicity, political views or religious beliefs ... perhaps this interest has brought me closer to the issues of human rights and I support activities that promote their divulgation. Last but not least, my work as an educator at the Art Academy SantaGiulia has allowed me to develop a working method based on empirical experience with the goal that it can be communicated, copied and applied to achieve concrete results of high profile … Italo Calvino in “American Lessons” proposed the literary qualities to be preserved in the third millennium: lightness, quickness, precision, visibility, multiplicity ... I believe that this insight was farseeing and appliable to every sphere of life ... in my work I try to fulfill these five qualities, and to share those with anyone who needs my professional assistance. .

Mi occupo di progettare spazi, ambienti, installazioni, design e abiti per il teatro, lirica, cinema e arte contemporanea. Cerco la sperimentazione e la contaminazione dei lingiuaggi che puntano alla realizzazione di un segno univoco efficace. Nel mio approccio al lavoro cerco sempre di operare ad un livello creativo che superi le mie stesse aspettative. In oltre 25 anni di attività ho realizzato più di 150 progetti in ogni ambito dello spettacolo e delle arti visive che mi hanno portato a collaborare con artisti di ogni disciplina, ma posso senz’altro dire che l’esperienza raccolta accanto al maestro Ezio Frigerio sia stata professionalmente la più determinante. Spesso nel mio percorso ho guidato team di professionisti, dal 2009 sono direttore creativo di AREA BIANCA Concept Factory, questa preziosa esperienza ha fatto maturare in me l’idea che l’essere umano quando comunica serenamente e nel rispetto altrui é capace di elaborare idee straordinarie... Cerco dalla la sperimenal mio lavoro spazi, di artista visivo,installazioni, mi interessadesign indagare leper qualità specifiche del singolo a prescindere sua educazione, ceto, etnia, idee potazione e la contaminazione dei lingiuaggi che puntano alla realizzazione di un segno univoco efficace. Nel mio approccio al lavoro litiche o credo religioso... forse questo interesse mi ha avvicinato ai temi dei diritti umani e da qualche anno sostengo attività cerche ne promuovano la divulgazioco sempre di operare un livello creativo che superi le mie stessed’arte aspettative. L’uomo... è al centro del mio lavoro di artista visivo, mi interessa indagare le qualità specifiche del singolo individuo a prescindere dalla sua educazione, ceto, etnia, idee politiche o credo religioso... forse questo interesse mi ha avvicinato ai temi dei diritti umani e da qualche anno sostengo attività che ne promuovano la divulgazione. Non ultima la mia attività di educatore presso l’Accademia d’arte SantaGiulia mi ha consentito di elaborare un metodo di lavoro basato su esperienza empirica con l’obbiettivo che possa essere cumunicato, compreso e applicato per ottenere risultati concreti e d’alto profilo.. Italo Calvino nelle “lezioni americane” proponeva le qualità letterarie da conservare nel terzo millenio: Leggerezza, rapidità, esattezza, visibilità, molteplicità... ritengo questa intuizione lungimirante e applicabile ad ogni ambito dell’esistenza... cerco nel mio operato di realizzare queste cinque qualità e condividerle con chiunque abbia bisogno della mia collaborazione.
