Canadian Beat Scene

The CPA & CPG have been dismantled. It's contents and Poemata are under the Guardianship of Donna Allard International Beat Poet Laureate, Canada. The main aims of the Canadian Beat Scene, previously the Canadian Poetry Association are: To promote the reading, writing, publishing and preservation of poetry in Canada through the individual efforts of members; To promote communication among poets, publishers and the general public; To encourage leadership and participation from members and to encourage the formation and development of autonomous local chapters. In August 2019, the Canadian Beat Scene replaced the past organizations in order to 'keep with the times' and inspire those who love poetry worldwide, it was rebranded by the past president of the CPA & CPG.
