Status - Under Construction One Bangkok Zone 03 plays an important role in establishing the development’s reputation, catering to high-end luxury users, including guests and residents of the Ritz-Carlton. The zone demands a restrained and thoughtful architectural response. The concept is focused on a stately, high-end retail experience, continuing the classy retail experience of the exterior into the arcade of the building. Zone 03 is anchored by major public spaces on either end, and act as elegant companions to the high-end hospitality, residential, and office experiences of the entire block. The office tower itself is immediately striking for its rational and elegant form. Status - Competition Entry The Holland Village precinct feels seamlessly part of it’s neighborhood - with traditional foods, vibrant street life, and small scale architecture. The Village supports 24 hour street-life, and creates a new neighborhood typology that is active and changeable 365 days a year. This means accommodating pop-up stores, event spaces, and building flexibility to create seasonal features that draw the crowds of Singapore. The two key residential towers express a simple form through a dynamic facade expression. The wall-type illustrates a capacity for capturing lush greenscape up the tower, while allowing residents to enjoy the tropical weather of the climate. the landscape of jamaica plain is indicative of a true retreat in an urban setting. The residence overlooks jamaica plain, and sweeping motions along the hillside follow the path of the sun as it moves over boston. much of the home is buried, and sunlight leaks in from above to create a subtle atmosphere. the residence is ultimately divided into space for living, space for working, and space devoted to the fostering of inspiration.
