THE PANSY PATCH

MARCH UPDATE March was another busy month for our chapter as we said our official goodbyes to the Delta Omicron house and moved into our temporary space for the rest of the semester. Our sisters spent their spring breaks across the country and globe and visited places like Disney World, the Bahamas, Chicago, Amersterdam and the Czech Republic. The end of the month did not mean anything slowed down for Delta Omicron, but it did mean Greek Week. We loved participating in events and cheering on our sisters, and we placed first in the bowling competition. The end of the month also meant demolition started on the original facility. Currently demolition is still going on and then they will start clearing out the lot.

SAYING GOODBYE TO 750 COLONIAL At the beginning of the month, we said our official goodbyes to 750 Colonial Drive and walked out of the house one last time. The next week we moved in the German House/Modular Unit, which will act like as our temporary space. In the fall, we will be moving into the old Alpha Gamma Delta house, which Alpha Omicron Pi is currently using, and we will be living there for the 2018-2019 school year. Demolitition on the house began on March 28, and our sisters were there to watch as the process of building our new house started. While we are all sad to watch our house be torn down, we are excited for all the new adventures that our new house will bring us in Fall 2019.

BETTER THAN REALITY On the 22nd, we had our Better than Reality function at Glory Bound Gyros. Everyone dressed up as their favorite reality TV characters, from Toddlers and Tiaras to Duck Dynasty. At the venue there was a band playing old rock n roll hits but also a DJ playing today’s top hits, so there was really something for everyone’s tastes. All our sisters enjoyed spending time with each other, dressing up and taking pictures, and jamming out to the music together.
