When choosing plants, we are careful to select those that best suit y o u r g a r d e n . W e c o n s i d e r s u s t a i n a b i l i t y, m a i n t e n a n c e a n d a e s t h e t i c s a vital part of creating a beautiful garden.
DESIGN
We make an appointment with you, the client, to discuss your needs and desires. We will help prepare a list of what you want, and discuss budget and design ideas. From there we will create a design package to present to you. Once agreed upon, construction will begin.
MAINTENANCE
The key to having a great garden is plain and simple. We offer regular maintenance services to keep your garden looking beautiful and pristine.
GARDEN REDESIGN
This project is a commissioned design and construction done for a client in need to revitalize an old overgrown garden with a deteriorating deck, retaining wall and shed. The goal of this project was to improve and create a space that is inviting with two main areas: 1. An area for cooking, growing herbs and entertainment on the deck and patio close to the house where guests can bathe in the sun and eat a meal. 2. An area at the back of the garden where it is partly sunny and there is more shade. It is an area where one can escape, relax, read a book or sit with friends on the patio and have a conversation while being surrounded by beautiful foliage, flowers and a rockerie. The proposal met the client’s needs under a budget by creating a low-maintenance landscape, while utilizing reclaimed materials found on-site in order to establish a productive garden. This project was completed in 2014 and within a few years the plants will grow and fill out the garden quite nicely.
GREENE GARDEN
The aim of this design was to enhance the existing garden by creating a shaded lounging area at the south end and renovating the existing areas with new hardscaping and planting. Spaces were defined with different materials, planting and uses in order to create a simple design that was aesthetically pleasing and functional. The design includes a herb and vegetable garden, low-maintenance and drought tolerant plants, and integrates an existing drying rack. The two and a half week project was managed by Dx2 and completed on schedule and on budget.
