Resilient Fenix is the rebirth of the Martin Brumbaugh School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Indigenous flora used to create sense of place and connection with nature. Abandoned school repurposed as an incubator for organic cultivation, fresh produce market and botanical garden. Remnants of colonial past deconstructed to provide open gathering place to start a dialogs, bridge cultural barriers and create a positive narrative for the future.
