A SYMBOLIC MOVE Downtown Raleigh is changing and so is the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA). We are looking to the future and positioning for future downtown growth. As part of this journey, the DRA has hired a new President and CEO. In addition, the DRA is conducting an organizational assessment, developing a strategic plan and has moved into a new office at the Capital Bank building on Fayetteville Street. Our new home is a symbolic move. It provides attractive space for us to host events and meetings, lead presentations, facilitate economic and business development, build new relationships, and showcase downtown amenities. The space encourages collaboration and enhances our connection to the communities we serve.
POSITIONING FOR THE FUTURE These efforts are underway to position the DRA for the next 10 years of growth. From programming downtown plazas to leading retail recruitment to updating our downtown brand, the DRA has much to accomplish. We will be convening more meetings to address key downtown issues and collaborating with our partners to execute the Downtown Vision Plan, while demonstrating leadership along the way. With a new strategy in place, a new CEO, new staff members, new energy and new services, the DRA is investing in the future.
JOIN US To achieve our goals, the DRA IS EMBARKING ON A VISION BUILDER CAMPAIGN, inviting our generous supporters to invest in our vision for the future. Our campaign goal of $50,000 will allow the DRA to fully fund our office move and support our new strategic plan in the areas of branding, economic development, and member services. Your support is necessary to position the DRA to serve the future of downtown Raleigh. We ask for your support as a Vision Builder at one of the following investment levels: $5000, $2500, $1000, $500, $250*.
* $250 investment level available for individuals only
