Spring has arrived! We started the month of March with DPAC fan-favorite, Alton Brown in his all new culinary variety show, Alton Brown Live: Last Bite. Then, local Triangle restaurants, breweries, and live musicians came together during the 12th annual Bull City Food & Beer Experience. We also welcomed the hilarious and corn-filled musical, Shucked, which had our guests laughing the entire show.
The best-selling author and podcast host, Dr. Jordan B Peterson, returned last month, along with The Righteous Brothers, singing their classic hits during The Righteous Brothers: Lovin’ Feelin’ Farewell Tour. Ben Schwartz & Friends brought a totally improvised show that had the audience laughing in their seats together.
A highlight of the month was the return of Broadway’s surprise hit Beetlejuice , which delighted guests of all ages. Then, we ended the month with another DPAC fan favorite, Trixie and Katya in their show, The Bald and the Beautiful.
As always, thank you for your continued support.

Bull City Food & Beer Experience (SOLDOUT)

The event featured 30 Triangle restaurants paired with breweries spread throughout all three DPAC floors, featuring unlimited samplings and live music.

“Performers seemed more like real people experiencing the story rather than actors performing a story. The result was a delightful performance where the terrific jokes seemed to be told by a friend rather than a comedian – and thus more enjoyable. Music, actors, and orchestra was superb!”

DPAC’s Broadway Connects

DPAC’s Broadway Connects welcomed Beetlejuice cast member Maria Sylvia Norris (Maxine Dean/Juno) to Hillside High School for an amazing vocal workshop with local high school students. Maria helped students through various vocal warmups and shared her vocal expertise while students performed solo songs. The students at Hillside learned about the importance of physicality, character development, and storytelling in music.
Thank you to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina for making this wonderful community program possible.
