JAZZ ON THE COURT

FRIGHT NIGHT

Calling all of Durham’s ghosts and ghouls! This free event will feature carnival games, a puppet show, a costume parade, a fun house, and a family-friendly movie. There will even be a haunted trail for ages 13 and up. Dressing up isn’t just for the little ones. Everyone is encouraged to get in the spirit and wear your favorite costume. Registration is not required, and you’re welcome to come for the entire time or just drop in. TRUNK OR TREAT

Join the Holton staff for a fun-filled family event celebrating fall! The event involves the open trunks of cars displaying candy, and decorations. Costumes are not required but will make the event more exciting. Parents are encouraged to participate with their cars as well but it is not required. REMEMBRANCE DAY

Come join local veterans and friends to remember and honor the men and women who fought for our country. The event will be held at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial site at Edison Johnson Recreation Center. Share memories and enjoy music and refreshments. BULL CITY REELS ON WHEELS

Come on out for a movie on the big screen and enjoy it from the comfort of your vehicle. Food trucks will be available so be sure to bring your appetite. Gates open one hour before showtime. This is a free event but pre-registration is required. Reserve you parking spot today. Please visit the www.dprplaymore.org for a full list of rules and answers to FAQs. The event is rain or shine but if the wind is too high or weather is too severe we will try to reschedule the movie to the following night. The movie is TBD, stay tuned! At each of our Bull City Holidayz Events we will be collecting non-perishable food items for those in need in our community. If you are able, please bring an item from each person in your car. The Senior Holiday Party is one of Durham’s largest celebrations for Mature Adults. The party-goers are diverse, but they all have one thing in common - the desire to be entertained and to enjoy the company of long-time friends over dinner in a festive atmosphere. Mature Adults from across the Triangle will be on hand to celebrate life, friendship and to gather information about the companies that support their community. Most outdoor special events will occur rain or shine. In the case of extreme cold weather, threat or warning of a tornado or hurricane, or thunder and lightning storms, the event will be cancelled. A decision to close athletic fields or cancel games and practices will be made at 4:30 p.m. during the week and 7:30 a.m. on weekends.
