What’s this all about? Well, birthdays for me tend to be faced with a bit of ambivalence. Like most, I have had good ones and bad ones, fun ones and sad ones. When I turned 10 my mom had so little money, I got 50 cents worth of stickers, and that touched me. Now it’s a half-century later, and I don’t want to squander any remaining years—and turning 60 seems like is should be a big deal—sorta scary, but I’m going to make the most of it, and I’d like to invite you to be a part of it. In 2019, the year I turn sixty (gulp), I want to have some experiences that I have wanted to do for some time. In making this public, I hope to perhaps inspire (or perhaps inform) you to think about your life and what experiences you may want to add to yours. And by involving others, it helps to not only motivate me, but also hold me accountable. While this is an open invitation to join me in any of these, you may have already done some, so I would warmly welcome any tips, tools, methods, recommendations, leads, hacks, contacts and/or sharing of your experience and advice!
