BRUCE LEE PACKAGE

Big Boss, The (Fists of Fury) Director: Wei Lo Writer: Wei Lo Genre: Action/Crime KARATE KUNG-FU! The new screen excitement that gives you the biggest kick of your life! Martial arts master Bruce Lee solidifies his standing as one of the great action stars in Fists of Fury, the story of a Chinese country boy sent to live in Thailand with his uncle and cousins. Around his neck is a charm representing his promise to his mother not to fight, a promise which is repeatedly tested when he goes to work in the local icehouse for an abusive overseer and prejudiced natives. When some of his cousins are killed after discovering the icehouse is actually a front for a heroin-smuggling operation, Lee sets out to exact revenge and eventually has a showdown with the Japanese crimelord behind the entire scheme. Lee's physical gifts are undeniable; the blinding speed of his fists and feet must be seen to be believed. “It's Bruce vs. a whole army of lowlife thugs after they mess with his cousins, and Mr. Lee pulls off some truly amazing butt-kickery here.” – DVD Clinic “Very rarely, and often without warning, all the elements come together to create a fullfledged film superstar. The Big Boss was the film that launched Bruce Lee as an international force to be reckoned with, and it's easy to see why audiences flocked to watch the charismatic kung-fu master in action.” – Movie Feast Cast Bruce Lee (Cheng Chao-an) Maria Yi (Chow Mei) James Tien (Hsiu Chien) Ying-Chieh Han (Hsiao Mi) Malalene (Miss Wuman) Tony Liu (Hsiao Chiun) Kun Li (Ah Kun) Nora Miao (Drinkstand owner) San Chin (Hua Sze) Chih Chen (Foreman) Chia-Cheng Tu (Uncle) Tso Chen (Ice Factory Manager)

Fist of Fury Director: Wei Lo Writer: Wei Lo Genre: Action Bruce fights to defend the honor of the Chinese in the face of foreign aggression, and to bring to justice those responsible for his master's death. Returning to Shanghai to marry his fiancée, Chen Zhen (Bruce Lee) a student of renowned martial arts teacher Huo Yuanjia, discovers his sifu has died. During the funeral, members of a local Japanese dojo show up and insult the Chinese students. The bullying continues, with Chen fighting back, but when he discovers the truth - that his teacher was poisoned on the orders of the dojo's master - he sets off on a doomed mission of revenge. Fist of Fury features stunt work by a young Jackie Chan (who served as Lee's double). "Lee is decidedly an eye-catching figure as he takes on all comers, singly or in whimpering groups, in stylized, Karate-like bouts with swift, balletic moves, baleful stares, deadly flying fists and legs and, of course, all the necessary eerie shouts." - New York Times "In any genre, films run the full spectrum of quality – from terrible to mediocre, from good to fantastic. But only a few have achieved the distinction of being truly groundbreaking and worthy of historical note. ’Fist of Fury’ is unquestionably one of these prime examples." – Kung Fu Kingdom "The screen presence of Bruce Lee is undeniably strong. His fluidity in Kung Fu is amazing to watch, and he compresses the rage of a tormented culture into a physical art of retribution that promotes this film into a league of Asian classics." - BBC Cast Bruce Lee (Chen Zhen) Nora Miao (Yuan Le-erh) James Tien (Fan Chun-hsia) Maria Yi (Yen) Robert Baker (Petrov) Fu Ching Chen (Chao) Shan Chin (Tung) Ying-Chieh Han (Feng Kwai-sher) Riki Hashimoto (Hiroshi Suzuki) Jun Katsumura (Suzuki's bodyguard) Chung-Hsin Huang (Tien)

Bruce Lee plays Billy Lo, a HongKong based movie actor, who is a box office draw. His girlfriend, Ann Morris is a singer who is also climbing to the top. Yes, Game of Death is truly bona fide pastiche…" – Kung Fu Kingdom "...Billy Lo fights his way up a pagoda to find the boss of the syndicate, facing a different opponent on each floor, including the 7-foot tall Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, in what will go down as one of the greatest fights ever filmed." – The Digital Fix Cast Bruce Lee (Billy Lo) Colleen Camp (Ann Morris) Dean Jagger (Dr. Land) Gig Young (Jim Marshall) Tae-jeong Kim (Billy Lo) Biao Yuen (Billy Lo) Robert Wall (Carl Miller) Chuck Norris (Fighter) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Hakim) Mel Novak (Stick) Hugh O'Brian (Steiner) James Tien (Charlie Wang) Dan Inosanto (Pasqual)

Bruce Lee, My Brother Director: Raymond Yip Wai Man Writer: Manfred Wong Genre: Biography/Drama/Action A dramatic biopic of the eponymous martial arts legend as told by his younger brother, Robert Lee. It revolves around Bruce Lee's life as a rebellious adolescent in Hong Kong until he sets off for the USA and conquers the world at the age of 18 with only US$100 in his pocket. As a young man, Bruce Lee was a rebel who was always engaging in street fights with his buddies, Kong and Unicorn. Invincible as a street fighter, Bruce’s romantic escapades are not as smooth and successful. He is head over heels in love with Mandy only to realize his mate Kong shares the same passion. Meanwhile, another girl Monique has a crush on him. Against his father’s wishes, Bruce studies the Wing Chun martial arts style instead of Tai-chi and tastes his first “public” triumph by knocking out a Caucasian boxer at a tournament with his kung-fu skills. On the eve of his triumph, he learns that Kong has become a drug addict and decides to rumble the drug lord’s den together with Unicorn. This renders him the target of both the triads and corrupted cops who want him in jail. To save his life, Lee’s father has no choice but to send him off to San Francisco to pursue his studies. And the rest is history… Bruce Lee, My Brother is a fitting tribute about the early life of Bruce Lee, hitting the mark on famous milestones in his life, and showing his character not as the superstar to be, but the down to earth and fiercely loyal friend, brother and son he was known to all those close to him. JACKIE CHAN PACKAGE

Armour of God Director: Jackie Chan Writers: Barry Wong (original story), Edward Tang, Cheuk-Hon Szeto, Ken Lowe, John Sheppard Genre: Action/Adventure/Comedy Jackie Chan in his greatest adventure ever! Chan plays Jackie, aka the Asian Hawk, an Indiana Jones-style adventurer looking to make a fortune finding exotic antiquities. After discovering a mysterious sword in Africa, a band of Satanworshipping monks kidnap Jackie's ex-girlfriend Lorelei, demanding as ransom the sword and other pieces of the legendary Armour of God - a reportedly magical outfit dating back to the Crusades. He manages to get the objects in question from wealthy collector Bannon, and together with Bannon's daughter May and, of course, Hong Kong rock star Alan, the three head out to rescue Lorelei. When they do, they discover too late that she has been brainwashed. She drugs Alan, taking him and the armor back to the monastery. Jackie is forced to take on an army of satanic monks single-handedly. This film is especially remembered as the shoot that almost killed Jackie Chan. While jumping from one tree to another, he slipped and plunged almost 40 feet landing on his head. True to hallowed Hong Kong tradition, that outtake along with dozens of others is included at the end of the film. "The film hits escape velocity, moving straight from one phenomenal set piece to another, with no room between to catch your breath." - TV Guide's Movie Guide "An excellent example of Chan at his comic/kick-'em-up best, blending elements of both James Bond and Indiana Jones, along with the requisite zany fights and stunts." - Deseret News, Salt Lake City "Overflowing with Chan's trademark stunt setpieces (not to mention his own goony brand of extremely broad slapstick), the film's a dazzler..." - Austin Chronicle Cast Jackie Chan (Asian Hawk) Alan Tam (Alan) Rosamund Kwan (Lorelei) Lola Forner (May) Bozidar Smiljanic (Bannon) Ken Boyle (Grand Wizard) John Ladalski (Chief Lama) Robert O'Brien (Witch Doctor) Boris Gregoric (Man at Auction) Marcia Chisholm (Fighter)

Armour of God II: Operation Condor Director: Jackie Chan Writers: Jackie Chan, Edward Tang Genre: Action/Adventure/Comedy The Biggest Martial Arts Epic Ever Made. Jackie Chan returns to his adventuring Indiana Jones-esque Asian Hawk character with this rollicking action-adventure yarn. In this go-around, Jackie is looking for 240 tons of gold stolen by the Nazis and buried beneath the Sahara. Along the way, he teams up with a stuck-up archeologist named Ada, a Japanese tourist named Momoko, and Elsa, the granddaughter of the Nazi captain who originally hid the booty. Opposing them is various groups of blackguards and mercenaries along with Adolf - the last surviving soldier from the original company - who is hellbent on getting the gold himself. Soon, two of Jackie's companions find themselves sold into slavery while Jackie battles the baddies in a massive WWII-era wind tunnel. This film ran 100 percent over Chan's already lavish - by Hong Kong standards - budget, making it one of the most expensive films that industry has ever produced. "Terrific, fun!" - Los Angeles Times "The point of the movie is the fight scenes, and they're impressive, as is the car chase, one of the funniest, most inventive in recent memory." - New York Times "Lots of fun from start to finish!" - Capital Times Cast Jackie Chan (Asian Hawk/Condor/Jackie) Carol 'Do Do' Cheng (Ada) Eva Cobo (Elsa) ShĂ´ko Ikeda (Momoko) Aldo Sambrell (Adolf) Ken Goodman (Adolf's Guard #1) Steve Tartalia (Adolf's Guard #2) Vincent Lyn (Mark/Adolf's Guard #3) Bruce Fontaine (Adolf's Guard #4) Wayne Archer (Adolf's Guard #5) Brandon Charles (Adolf's Guard #6) Ken Lo (Adolf's Guard #7) Peter Klimenko (Adolf's Guard #8) Christian Perrochaud (Adolf's Guard #9)

Project A Director: Jackie Chan Writers: Jackie Chan, Edward Tang Genre: Action/Comedy Nonstop Action On The High Seas! In late 19th Century Hong Kong the British may rule the land, but the pirates rule the waters. Reluctantly, the Coast Guard is given money to fight these pirates, but the pirates themselves have many contacts (that is, bribed officials) in the government, and seek to thwart the Coast Guard's efforts to eliminate them. One Coast Guard officer is Dragon Ma, who is determined that his beloved Coast Guard will not be made fools of. Jackie Chan directs himself and fellow martial arts superstar Sammo Hung in this action film. As is usually the case, Chan performs all of his own stunts during the film. “Considered by many to be Chan's best picture, this action-comedy-adventure successfully mixes elements of Bruce Lee and Buster Keaton.” – Film4 “The chance to see Jackie and his team at the peak of their powers!” – Eye for Films “Shot before Chan had broken every bone in his body twice, the spry Chan had such agility and quickness it's truly frightening to watch.” – Filmcritic.com Cast Jackie Chan (Dragon Mi Yong) Sammo Hung (Fei) Biao Yuen (Captain Tzu) Dick Wei (Lor Sam Pau) Mars (Jaws) Isabella Wong (Winnie) Po Tai (Tai) Wu Long Cheung (VIP Club Bouncer) Hoi Sang Lee Hoi-Shan Kwan (Captain Chi) Wai Wong Fat Wan (Thug) Wing Man Kuen Ho Kai Law Hark-Sun Lau (Admiral)

Project A2 Director: Jackie Chan Writers: Jackie Chan, Edward Tang Genre: Action/Comedy This A Is For Action! Jackie Chan's sequel to the massively popular "Project A" picks up right where the last film left off. Dragon Ma is back, having rid the seas of the dreaded Pirate Lo. Back on land, he is assigned to the police force, where he is to clean up corruption and crime in a local suburb. Along the way, he is caught up in the fate of several Chinese patriots attempting to secure sympathy and support for their revolutionary cause. The Chinese Manchu government is after these revolutionaries, and anyone that stands in their way is in trouble, even if they are in the police force. Slapstick martial arts film, often regarded as superior to the original Project A. Many of the acrobatic fight sequences in this installment are legendary, including a scene where Dragon runs down the wall of a collapsing building in the style of Buster Keaton. “The movie marks Chan's move into large scale Buster Keaton-esque like stunts that are a joy to watch.” – BBC Movies “Project A, Part II brings Jackie Chan fans more of what they love about him. And I must say it again, the stunts and fight sequences are, as usual, simply amazing” – At-AGlance Film Reviews “It’s gloriously chaotic, frantic, and eventually spins into a wild run/fight, bringing all of the potential stunts that go along with it.” – DoBlu.com Cast Jackie Chan (Dragon Mao) Maggie Cheung (Yesan) Rosamund Kwan (Miss Pak) Carina Lau (Beattie) David Lam (Superintendant Chun) Bill Tung (Police Commissioner) Sam Lui (Mr. Man) Regina Kent (Regina, Governor's Daughter) Yao Lin Chen (Awesome Wolf) Kenny Ho (Shi King) Mars (Jaws) Kin-sang Lee (Mao's Sidekick No 2)

Based on an amazing real-life story. "Moody visuals, expertly paced montages and climactic sequences aboard a rusting seatanker and in a burning slum tenement all deliver above and beyond genre norms." A standout sequence of the zillionaire's wife handing over the ransom loot while being tracked by the cops is a tour de force of cross-cutting and direction." - Variety "Crime Story is extremely gritty as the camera work always seems to make you feel like you're taking cover with Jackie or it'll be positioned right where someone's face gets slammed against a wall to make you feel every punch and every kick." – Examiner Cast Jackie Chan (Inspector Eddie Chan) Kent Cheng (Detective Hung) Christine Ng (Lara) Kar-Ying Law (Wong) Puishan Auyeung (Wong's wife) Blackie Shou Liang Ko (Captain Ko) Fat Wan (Simon Ting) Ken Lo (Ng Kwok Yan) Fat Chung (Ng Kwok Wah) William Tuen (Superintendent) Chu Pak Wo Hsiang Lin Yin Tak-Shing Lam Rocky Lai (Taiwanese Gangster/Restaurant Owner)

Lost Future, The Director: Mikael Salomon Writers: Jonas Bauer, Bev Doyle Genre: Action/Adventure Set generations from now, The Lost Future is an exotic and dangerous world in which an isolated tribe fights for survival in a landscape overrun by terrible beasts carrying a mysterious and deadly illness. Savan is the future chief of the tribe, a warrior and great fighter who believes - like the tribal elders - that they are the only humans that have survived in this hostile world. But a young tracker, Kaleb, believes in the existence of other tribes and cherishes an old artifact that his father had given to him before his disappearance. Their conflicting views cause strong animosity between the two young tribesmen, but when the tribe's village is attacked by beasts, everything changes. COMEDY

Little Death, The Director: Josh Lawson Writer: Josh Lawson Genre: Comedy The Little Death is a truly original comedy about sex, love, relationships and taboo. Debut director Josh Lawson presents a laugh out loud funny, honest and moving look at the secret sex lives of ordinary people. In a multi-story narrative, we peer behind the closed doors of a seemingly normal suburban street… A woman with a dangerous fantasy and her partner's struggle to please her. A man who begins an affair with his own wife without her knowing anything about it. A couple struggling to keep things together after a sexual experiment spins out of control. A woman who can only find pleasure in her husband's pain. A call centre operator caught in the middle of a dirty and chaotic phone call. And the distractingly charming new neighbour who connects them all. With an ensemble of Australia's finest talent, The Little Death explores: why do we want what we want? How far will we go to get it? What are the consequences of that fleeting moment of sexual ecstasy? A moment the French call La Petite Mort. A moment we call The Little Death. Amateurs, The Director: Michael Traeger Writer: Michael Traeger Genre: Comedy Not your average adult movie. A man down on his luck hatches a different kind of get-rich-quick scheme in this independent comedy. Andy Sargentee is a middle-aged divorcÊ who is down in the dumps after the departure of his wife, Thelma, and son, Billy. The fact that Thelma's new hubby is quite wealthy only makes things more troubling for Andy, and he keeps thinking that if he had more money he could be back in her good graces. One night, while knocking back drinks with his friends, Andy has a brainstorm - pornography is big business these days, so why not round up the local talent and make an adult movie? Andy persuades his friend Barney to sign on as co-producer, and they start putting together a crew, including Emmett, a kid with a video camera who becomes director of photography; Otis, who volunteers to be the gofer who doesn't really do anything; and as director a guy known only by his nickname, Some Idiot. Casting proves to be a bit more problematic, especially after they discover that Moose, who has been cast in the male lead, may be gay when he repeatedly fails to rise to the occasion. "Ultimately heartwarming and humorous enough to merit a recommendation." Filmcritic.com "A feel good movie which should not be missed." – Metacritic.com Cast Jeff Bridges (Andy Sargentee) Tim Blake Nelson (Barney Macklehatton) Joe Pantoliano (Some Idiot) Ted Danson (Moose) William Fichtner (Otis) Patrick Fugit (Emmett) John Hawkes (Moe) Jeanne Tripplehorn (Thelma) Brad William Henke (Ron) Dawn Didawick (Clara) Glenne Headly (Helen Tatelbaum) Tom Bower (Floyd) Jayne Taini (Mrs. Morrelli)

Over the scorching summer that follows, she decides to replace her grandmother’s bathtub with a walk-in shower, eat peas and carrots with ketchup, drive a Porsche, harvest plums, lose her driver’s license, sleep with her best friend and get back together with her ex. In short, over this particular summer, Ana tries to get her life together. "Writer-director Rachel Lang and star Salome Richard manage to craft an intriguing feature debut filled with keen observations and slices of dark humor" - Hollywood Reporter "A very interesting film on multiple levels, but what impresses the most coming from this first-time feature director is how she balances and combines order and chaos, in terms of both subject matter and stylistic approach. Lang and Richard show great promise" - Cineuropa "Unified by a distinctive humour and intelligence, crisp visuals, and Richard’s intensely charismatic presence." - Screen Daily Cast Salomé Richard (Ana) Claude Gensac (La grand-mère) Lazare Gousseau (Grégoire) Swann Arlaud (Simon) Olivier Chantreau (Boris) Jorijn Vriesendorp (Mira) Noémie Rosset (Meriem) Zabou Breitman (La mère d'Ana) Thomas Silberstein (Samson) Kris Portier de Bellair (La mère de Boris) Régis Lang (Le père d'Ana) Kate Moran (Lois) Mathieu Mortelmans (L'assistant de production) Sam Louwyck (Andrew) Driss Ramdi (Amar)

Mellow Mud Director: Renars Vimba Writer: Renars Vimba Genre: Drama Loneliness, disillusionment and the experience of first love No one shall know that their grandmother has died. To avoid being taken into the care of the authorities, 17-year-old Raya and her younger brother bury the old woman they grew up with in the garden by the apple orchard. With no one else to depend on, Raya has to organize daily survival for herself and her brother. She’s pinning all her hopes on their mother, who has emigrated to England. The film describes the difficult situation of those left behind in a country that many people have already abandoned. It is a portrait of a resourceful and determined young woman who refuses to give up her dreams despite the hardships life has thrown at her. In her constant struggle to evade the authorities, she tries to find her own happiness while taking care of her brother. "Compelling, bittersweet coming-of-ager from first-time feature helmer-writer Renars Vimba. This evocatively shot realist tale benefits from a spare yet credible script and a knockout performance from big-screen debutant Elina Vaska... this is a title that will be appreciated by arthouse fans of all ages." – Variety "There is a spare beauty to this picture. It is lean, economic storytelling with no wasted scenes, and yet, largely thanks to a bravura performance from impressive newcomer Vaska, there is a real emotional depth here." – Screen Daily "(Mellow Mud) marks the assured feature debut of writer-director Renars Vimba... it has sufficient high-art polish to grab more festival platforms, where it will serve as a calling card for Vimba and his quietly magnetic young star Elina Vaska." – Hollywood Reporter Cast Elina Vaska (Raja) Andzejs Lilientals (Robis) Edgars Samitis (Oskars) Ruta Birgere (Grandmother) Indra Brike Zane Jancevska (Daina) Rezija Kalnina Janis Kirmuska Sandra Klavina

Pioneer Heroes (Pionery-geroi) Director: Natalya Kudryashova Writer: Natalya Kudryashova Genre: Drama Veliky Novgorod, 1987. Olga makes a stand against her teacher's authoritarian teaching methods, Andrey is propagating an "anti-death pill" in a jam jar and Katya observes her father distilling booze illegally behind closed doors. These three young schoolmates are all members of the "Vladimir Illyich Lenin" Young Pioneer organisation and are full of childlike visions of the future. Over twenty-five years on, all three have now established themselves professionally in Moscow, and yet they have not really found their bearings in present day Russia. Olga suffers from panic attacks, Andrey tries to fill his inner void with computer games, and Katya is pursued by unsettling dreams. Moving poetically between past and present, Natalia Kudryashova shows the gulf between the visions of yesteryear and today's reality which the dissolution of the Soviet Union has left behind for its final generation of Young Pioneers. Impressively dense and atmospheric images describe their attitudes towards life. Derelict concrete buildings, imposing and Kafkaesque, give shape to the oppressive shadows of their original dreams that now threaten to engulf them. "A poignant and funny film" – Dog and Wolf "A visually stunning fantasy about the loss of orientation and the new artificial worlds of post-socialist life." - Berliner Zeitung "A lot of things in this beautiful film live from the contrast between the times." - Tagesspiegel Cast Natalya Kudryashova (Olga) Darya Moroz (Katya) Aleksey Mitin (Andrey) Varya Shablakova (Olga as a child) Sima Vybornova (Katya as a child) Nikita Yakovlev (Andrey as a child) Yuriy Kuznetsov Aleksandr Userdin (Psychoanalytic) Svetlana Smirnova-Martsinkevich (Andrey’s girlfriend) Anatoliy Belyy Zhanetta Demikhova (Teacher) Alesya Guzko (Angel)

Thirst Director: Svetla Tsotsorkova Writers: Svetoslav Ovtcharov, Svetla Tsotsorkova Genre: Drama In the struggle of daily existence, the thirst for love may be greater than that for life itself. A couple and their teenage son eke out a living on a hilltop, doing the laundry for local hotels, despite the intermittent water supply. Their simple life is overturned by the arrival of a father-anddaughter team of diviner and well-digger, who promise to bring an end to this precarious existence by finding a source on their arid hill. But ultimately, these newcomers quench a thirst that is much stronger than that for mere water. "Rarely does a debut feature come along with the visual and narrative confidence of "Thirst" a beautifully crafted, subtly told story of two very different teens hesitantly coming together in Bulgaria's rural southwest. Directed with arresting yet subtle flair by Svetla Tsotsorkova, whose affinity for minimal dialogue elides with her careful attention to how people observe each other, the film combines chamber-piece elements with sensitivity to landscape, light and shadow." - Variety "A remarkably confident feature debut" – Screen Daily "No doubt actress Svetla Tsotsorkova has a made a strong directorial debut here" PopOptiq Cast Monika Naydenova (The Girl) Alexander Benev (The Boy) Svetla Yancheva (The Mother of The Boy) Ivaylo Hristov (The Father of The Boy) Vassil Mihajlov (The Father of The Girl) Stefan Mavrodiyev (The Shopkeeper) Ivan Barnev (The mini bus driver) Original title: Жажда Runtime: 90 min Country: Bulgaria Language: Bulgarian Year: 2015

In Bloom (Grzeli nateli dgeebi/გრძელი ნათელი დღეები) Directors: Nana Ekvtimishvili, Simon Groß Writer: Nana Ekvtimishvili Genre: Drama Tbilisi, Georgia, 1992: The Soviet era is over and Georgia must fend for itself. Civil war is raging in the province of Abkhazia. For Natia and Eka, the barely fourteenyear-old protagonists of Grzeli nateli dgeebi, childhood is coming to an end. Eka is growing up without her father, rebelling against her concerned mother and her older sister. And Natia’s father, a choleric alcoholic, terrorises the entire family. The two friends cannot find peace outside of the family either – not in school, not on the street, and not in the bread lines. Chaos, insecurity, and fear of what the future might bring hold sway in everyday life. An admirer gives Natia a pistol with one single bullet. A little later, she’s abducted by another admirer… “First feature film by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Groß takes up the buried traditions of Georgian cinema, weaving together loud and soft, melancholy and missing love, eruptions of violence and a sense of the idyllic, precocious coldbloodedness and childlike naïveté into a wonderfully rhythmic, exciting cinematic composition.” – Berlinale 2013 “Georgia’s reputation as the latest cinematic hotspot for emerging talent is enhanced further by “In Bloom,” an absorbing, intelligently assembled coming-of-ager that revolves around two pubescent gal-pals…” – Variety “An eye-pleasing aesthetic for a classy and absorbing debut.” – Hollywood Reporter Cast Lika Babluani (Eka) Mariam Bokeria (Natia) Zurab Gogaladze (Kote) Data Zakareishvili (Lado) Giorgi Aladashvili (Kopla) Gia Shonia (Wakho) Ana Nijaradze (Ana) Maiko Ninua (Sophiko) Tamar Bukhnikashvili (Natia's Mother) Temiko Chichinadze (Natia's Father) Berta Khapava (Natia's Grandmother) Endi Dzidzava (Kote's Mother)

Confidant, The (Eštebák) Director: Juraj Nvota Writer: Lubomir Slivka Genre: Drama/Comedy/Thriller Adam, a young radio ham, is forced to save his girlfriend Eve from official harassment by signing a "contract with the devil," becoming a secret police agent wiretapping people to obtain compromising materials to be used against them. Adam and Eva love each other but the times are conspiring to prevent them from fulfilling their dreams. So the new husband decides to take a job that will secure an apartment for the happy couple – but might also break them apart. On top of that, he’s carrying a burden that could, if the authorities wish it, turn against him and his loved ones. Set in a period when even liking Led Zeppelin didn’t mean that people could joke with you about the Soviet Union, this dramatic story presents a typical hero who, although he yields to the advantages associated with working as a secret agent, tries to maintain a limit: to accept things that help him and his family but that don’t hurt others. Given the nature of his profession, however, this isn’t entirely possible, and so sooner or later he can expect to discover, with regret, whose life he turned upside down in order to live more contentedly. The picture shows its protagonist as an essentially good person, emphasizing the compromises demanded by the times, and why so many were willing to make them. „Hilarious visual and well-presented atmosphere.“ – Fandimefilmu.cz Cast Jirí Mádl (Adam Horný) Michaela Majerníková (Eva Horná) Maciej Stuhr (Jacek) Jan Budar (Commander Rybarik) Ondrej Vetchý (Commander Dravec) Katarzyna Chmara (Polish woman) Marek Geisberg Martin Geisberg (Ján Janonymus) Arnost Goldflam (Arnost) Slawomir Grzymkowski (Polish man) Ady Hajdu (Józef) Jakub Nvota (Koménius) Tatiana Pauhofová (Jana Janonymová) Anna Pawlowska

Bruna Surfistinha Director: Marcus Baldini Writers: José de Carvalho, Homero Olivetto Genre: Drama Inspired by the memoir O Doce Veneno Do Escorpião (The Scorpion's Sweet Poison) by Raquel Pacheco, the film tells the story of a young girl who rebels against her upperclass family by moving out and becoming a call girl. She was known to her clients as Bruna the Surfer Girl, a chic São Paolo prostitute who fled her middle-class home at the age of 17 to sell herself to up to five men a day. Then Bruna took to the internet, and her racy accounts of life as a high-class Brazilian call girl have earned her international fame. Bruna detailed online her three years working as a prostitute. Thankfully, in between his assignments, Tony offers a sympathetic ear and the two men form a bond that will ultimately help them to readjust to "normal" life. Smash & Grab: The Story of the Pink Panthers Director: Havana Marking Genre: Documentary/Crime/History/Thriller The world's most successful jewel thieves in their own words. Their crimes resemble high-octane Hollywood action movies: a sports car speeds through a Dubai shopping mall, crashing into the windows of a Graff jewelry store. Masked, gun-wielding men jump out of the car, and stuff fistfuls of diamonds into their satchels before screeching off. In London, they took all of three minutes to make off with $30 million in diamonds. They are captured - not in person, but on surveillance tapes that record their astonishing lightning strikes with hypnotic accuracy. Playing out like a noir thriller spiced with cutting-edge animation and shocking real surveillance footage, Havana Marking's Smash & Grab is an exclusive all-access pass into the mysterious world of international jewel thieves. Dubbed 'The Pink Panthers', the formidable Balkan gang has stolen nearly a billion dollars worth of jewels from boutiques in the world's most opulent cities, including Geneva, Paris, London, Geneva, Dubai and Tokyo. Through never-before-seen interviews with key gang members, this provocative documentary delves into the gang's incredible history and introduces the viewer to the global police forces who work furiously to stop them. Beyond the glitz of the Panthers' incredible heists, Smash & Grab exposes dark truths about the illicit diamond trade and the world's most ruthless mafia networks.
