Information about your EAP Privacy Act

Where to seek help:

Privacy legislation protects your personal information. Your EAP provider conforms with the requirements of the Privacy Act. If you want, you can access your information held by Drake WorkWise. If you would like to obtain this information please discuss this with your counsellor.

Confidentiality The Drake WorkWise EAP is strictly confidential, which means your employer: •

Cannot access any of your Drake WorkWise EAP information.

Cannot contact the Drake WorkWise EAP provider or counsellor & enquire about attendance or matters discussed in counselling.

Information can only be released to your employer at your request and with your signed consent.

Your feedback on the EAP is valued. You may be contacted by telephone or by questionnaire at a convenient time to provide feedback on the service. If you do not want to participate please advise your counsellor.

Free to Employees and often their Immediate Family Members

Independent professional qualified counsellors are available to help you clarify any concerns or problems. Counsellors are available to explore options available to you and access further assistance if necessary.

The Drake WorkWise Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and often their immediate family members with short term assistance with concerns which can disrupt wellbeing and work effectiveness.

Drake WorkWise provides EAP Services for many organisations across Australia, in every State and major area.

In addition to EAP, Drake WorkWise provides a range of value adding services in management and organisational consultancy, workplace conflict and bullying investigation and mediation, training services, human resource consultancy, risk and safety management, trauma management and psychological assessment and treatment.

Access & referral EAP can be accessed by the freecall number 1300 135 600. Urgent assistance can also be accessed via this number 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
