Sustainability Commitment OUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT Drake New Zealand is committed to becoming more sustainable. As a global company with a broad national presence across New Zealand since 1971, we have a responsibility towards the betterment of the communities that we live and work within. Our sustainability mission for Drake New Zealand is to be consistent, accountable, involved in the community and to go green(er).

We are consistent in, and hold ourselves accountable for, becoming more sustainable, both internally and with our clients, candidates and supply chains. And finally, in everything we do, we want to be more involved in the community, through our charitable support as well as giving back - through our staff and through our business sponsorships. Every little bit counts, and together, we can make a difference.

We are committed to re-investing in the communities in which we operate, and we look to support and partner with local and small businesses to increase our social responsibility, create sustainability initiatives and provide equal opportunity. PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN SUSTAINABILITY Our Commitment to Buying Local Our suppliers are based locally around New Zealand. We strive to procure all trades and services locally. Our approach also includes purchasing items in bulk where possible to reduce the frequency of our orders. This includes services such as: 3 Trades 3 Fleet servicing 3 IT & Telecommunication repair 3 Cleaning and facilities maintenance 3 Office supplies and equipment 3 Kitchen supplies 3 Merchandise Where possible, Drake endeavours to purchase all accommodation, flights and meal allowances through local

businesses. It is a part of Drake’s approach to investing in business locally, improving in the livelihoods and economy of the communities we work within.

Supply Chain We aim to have a sustainable procurement chain where possible to reduce carbon emissions. In every Drake office, we strive to source goods locally and sustainably. By reducing carbon miles for items such as catering, office supplies, the provision of trades and essential services, we are collectively making a real reduction to our company’s environmental footprint. It also supports the local community and strengthens economy in the regions we operate in.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY Company-Wide Go Green Mission Drake New Zealand has a companywide environmental mandate which is implemented in the following ways: 3 Reducing our paper-based processes, developing electronic versions of our current paper-based forms and documents. 3 When we must print, doing so on recycled and ethically-sourced paper where possible. 3 Encourage use of reusable cups and bottles instead of disposable versions internally and with our clients and candidates, reducing the personal waste of our supply chain.

3 Donating a tree for every permanent placement made through Trees That Count. 3 Ensuring all lighting and electrical equipment is turned off when not in use. 3 Some offices have automatic switches installed to conserve energy. All electrical items are tested to ensure all items are in good condition and working order. 3 Ensuring all taps and other water delivery devices are turned off when not in use. 3 All sensitive documents are stored in a secured bin, which is sent for recycling. Other items (where possible) are also separated for recycling. General rubbish is disposed of regularly and responsibility. 3 Use of carbon-neutral office supplies.
