Although most clefts can be repaired through proper surgery, many families are unable to afford the cost, and their child grows up facing untold hardships. Interior Design Focus Your Personalized Wardrobe (2) 4. Spacing in Wardrobe / Leave Some Spaces in Your Wardrobe Apart from sorting out your outfits, it is better to leave additional spaces in the wardrobe for future use as well. For ladies, wardrobe is a proper place for storage, but it is also your gallery – a place for listing your favourite outfits at home. If you could make a big difference in space planning, this means you could shop more for your clothing in future! 5. A New Wardrobe Setting The Setting of The Hanging Tube 1. Try to set the hanging tube at eye level, approximately 100mm200mm from the eyes. This makes you easy to access and locate the outfits. The Setting of Drawers 2. Try to make your drawers as 200mm(H)-400mm(H) high and install at the lower tier of the wardrobe. Such location is conveniently fit for accessing the drawers and storing the outfits. The Setting of Interior 3. Measure the height of your daily outfits. By taking its average size, this could be used to verify the height of the wardrobe interior. 6. Other Important Guidelines 1. The weight that matters. If the width of wardrobe board exceeds 600mm (except for sliding door), it may cause a slight downward tilt after some period of time. Besides, the board will be easily get stuck because the door cranks are installed at the side. For any boards that are bigger in size, we suggest you to install some aluminum strips inside the board layer for securing its shape. 2. Humidity is relatively high during winter in Hong Kong. You may add some plugs into your wardrobe and install small heating tubes to prevent the problems. This approach increases the durability of wardrobe and could keep outfits in better conditions. In addition, you could also install a switch that allows you to turn it off in summer – for minimizing electricity usage and environmental impact. 3. It is better to install 4 door cranks on the wardrobe board as the strong pivot points. Each pivot point is located as follows: (pic)
(四)讓衣櫃留些空間 除了了解自己的衣服類型外,你亦需要為衣櫃留些空間以放置將來的 衣物。這一點尤其是為女士們而設,一個理想的藏衣處就是你的天地, 若果你能預留空間為未來打算一下,你就可以為將來添上更多喜愛的 衣物了! (五)新衣櫃的注意事項 / 打造新衣櫃時的注意事項 掛衣鐵通的設置 (一)把掛衣鐵通設置在眼睛水平的範圍大約 100mm-200mm 的距離 之內,以便找到衣物。 抽屜的設置 (二)把抽屜的高度設置為 200mm(H)-400mm(H),並設置在衣櫃的低 層,以方便放置和拿取衣物。 衣櫃內部的高度設置 (三)把平日你所穿的衣服類型量度一下,並以衣服平均的高度作為 衣櫃內部的高度。
(六)另外需要留意的事項/其他重要細節和事項 (一)衣櫃門板的闊度不要超過 600mm(趟門除外),否則日子久了, 門板會因重量而出現微微彎曲的情況,而且門板亦會因鉸位的 偏側原理令門的開關出現問題,若門過大的話,我們則建議在 門板裡加入鋁條,以防止門板變形。 (二)香港的冬天比較潮濕,你可以選擇在衣櫃裡增加電位來設置防 潮暖管,這樣衣服在乾爽的環境下會得到較好的保存外,衣櫃 也會比較耐用。此外,你亦可以為暖管設置開關器,在夏天的 時候把暖管關上,既不耗電,同時亦符合環保原則。 (三)門板上最好設置 4 個門鉸作為有力的支撐點,各個支撐點的位 置如下: (圖) Info Vincee Li The principal at FK Concept, having worked previously in prestigious interior companies, and participated in some famous corporate like Price Water House Cooper, Ernst & Young and luxury residential at Perkins Road, she was inspired to start her own practice in, where she would have greater control over creative quality and client management.

Feng Shui Talk Kitchen Kitchen (1) – open kitchen concept is rather popular but such design opens up to the whole floor where odors, smoke and oiliness can easily flow through the house affecting the quality of air. Kitchen design in “eight sectors” of Feng Shui can be used in the weakest part of the house to apply pressure over the unwanted elements and energies. Modern kitchens are well equipped with refrigerators, stoves, steel made kitchenware and they can be designed to generate positive energies and harmony when rightfully located. Kitchen (2) – Kitchen door (Fire element) should not be facing entrance of the bathroom (Water element) as water and fire does not compliment each other. Occupants can easily catch allergies even with medical care. Stove cannot be facing the main entrance of the house or bedroom, and certainly not at the center of the house. Having too much Fire energies in the center will affect occupant’s health and luck. Remedy: (1) Install glass panel with cabinet for separation purposes. Keep glass and cabinet tidy and clean. (2) Avoid facing bathroom door. Try realigning doors or hang plants from ceiling to block energies from flowing straight through. Where kitchen is located in the center or the house, it is strongly recommended to refurbish kitchen to another area.
廚房 (1) ---- 開放式廚房非常受歡迎,由於沒有實牆去阻隔油煙,讓部份油煙帶著氣味滲出客廳,影響空氣質素及弄污客廳,廚房設計在 八宅風水學上來說,放在大凶方位,利用污穢物壓住凶位,現代廚房設備先進,有雪櫃、抽油煙機、電磁爐、煤氣爐、廚用鋼 具等,經改良後現代廚房也可設計放在吉方位來催吉助旺。 廚房 (2) ---- 廚房 ( 火 ) 門不可對沖廁所 ( 水 ) 門,水火交戰,屋內之人容易惹上敏感病症,屢醫仍未能愈好。爐具不可對沖大門及房門, 更不可放在屋中心位置,火燒中心影響健康和運氣。
化解方法 : (1) 拆牆後上面部份可裝設玻璃,下面部份做櫃用作阻隔之用,必須保持整潔。 (2) 盡量避免廚門與厠門對沖,改門位置或吊放植物阻擋,廚房在中心位置宜拆遷調位,方為上策。
