Creating a new Sphere of Influence, a new life.

Recently on The Revenue Ringlet mastermind zoom, the idea of a person in recovery, newly clean and sober, needs to build an entire new sphere of influence. If bridges were burnt and family and friends aren’t a safe or trusting resource anymore; the path to rebuilding is more complicated and necessary. A few days later on my “For Love of Collaboration Speed Networking” zoom on Valentine’s Day, I was able to connect two remarkable people. Orrin Hudson is one do those remarkables.

His speaking career is inspiring! I admire how clear and succinct his message is. Clever phrases like “from hood to good” and “your mind is a pearl, you can change the world” are easy to repeat and teach. He says “brains before bullets. Think it out, don’t shoot it out” and “aim up, get your pants up, grades up!” He uses Chess as a teaching tool for young kids.

Developing Digital You takes a lot of strategy and teamwork. When we reflect on our performance, it helps to see yourself or your team as character at a point in time. Data art looks back at the choices we made in our prior month, year, or decade.

We become a character to study, encourage, and embrace. Have you been strategic enough on your digital journey?

As I reflect on my last few years, I’ve noticed changes in my own mindset. Especially after two major surgeries, my confidence has been shakier than ever.

Did you know?

A sphere of influence drastically changes after College or High School.

When we are young, we are influenced by our parents, teachers, other kids from sports. When we grow up, it CAN shift to influencing others.

This matrix isn’t perfectly proportional because with the internet, it collapses time in ways where we can reach so many people, quickly!

These are two examples of visualizing a teenagers sphere vs this potential sphere.

This is mock data but I encourage you to sketch your sphere or desired sphere. Consider online communities, places where people gather and you give back, family size, teams, etc. On the bottom left are a few examples of what a Discovery Session might look when I show people what’s possible online and which digital assets solve which marketing problems.
