ARTIST'S FOREWORD Words will never suffice. Like all of you, I grew up believing that what counts most in our lives is that which will occur in the future. In creating one’s path, I’ve come to appreciate the depth of the wisdom ingrained in finding the balance between control and letting go; of enduring and being the grounded warrior of everyday. On this first attempt to venture into the “art world”, with my first online selling participation, I’d love to hate not putting this great wisdom into the real test. After overcoming the struggle cycle: from looking for inspiration to actual execution, from weaving the narratives of the concept to inviting deeply loved friends and family to my first exhibit, and from surrendering to one's creative language to the gruelling act of putting a price tag on my own flesh and blood, I’ve come to understand that things are not as they appear to be. It is when I fully let go that my search was over. And while I accept the challenge of the need to rather develop further at some areas, I take pride (and a pat on the back) in taking this step forward; of sharing a piece of my Life with all of you.

Growth is Overrated It’s been two days in Rome and the entire idea that I’m finally in Italy hasn’t sunk in yet. Maybe I still need more time to adjust. Gahd! I’m in love with you, Rome! You’re like no other. I really hope that you still connect from your own source of wisdom from within, as you get bombarded by a lot of different things, both good and bad, in this busy yet lovely city. More to come. I love you, my other half. 14 August 2018 Domus Carmelitaña | Rome | 12:54 AM

Today is a new start. Eradicate all forms of negative energy and make the most of every moment. The future is non-existent. The past is non-existent. I am one and born of the universe and nothing can stop me. Not even my selfimpsosed fear and doubt. I’ll watch it come and I’ll watch it go as I remain adamant walking and entering my vortex. I’ll be vibrationally aligned to what I want and what I need. I’ll develop more positive mental attitude and connect to my spirit even more , I’ve already won! And everything around me is a direct manifestation of what is. I am fueled. I am fired up more than ever. And just like Thic Quang Duc, I shall remain truthful in the face of uncertainty; to remain headstrong in the face of adversity. Everything is working out for it’s highest good. Your thoughts, happen! 18 July 2020 Green School Bali | 3:37 PM

Everyone is Just a Speck of Dust I hope you’re feeling better now. You see, life isn’t always about gold an glamour. Cherish the best as if it was your worst and cherish the worst as if it was your best. Always utter your utmost sincerity to the hand; the vast multiverse. Man made labels of fame, fortune, and power are all fleeting, as all glory are fleeting. We’re nothing but a momentary speck within an indifferent universe. Always fully connect to your Being. 02 September 2018 Summit Ridge Tagaytay | 2:53 PM

ARTIST'S TEXT Amor Fati: Testaments of Surrender 14-16 June 2019
One of the greatest gifts that art had brought into my life is the sheer ability to cultivate a deeper sense of meaning through the full spectrum of experiences of human emotions - which brought me the courage to be truthful regardless of what those who do not understand may think or say. It reminds me of my sole purpose: to be aligned to who I truly am. Prior to what I believe were true for me, it didn’t come to me on a silver platter. I fought for it just as I constantly fight my internal demons and external critics. I earned it as someone taught me to remain truthful in the face of uncertainty; to remain headstrong in the face of adversity. Little did I know that all of those teachings will provide shelter on moments that I’ll need refuge the most. This is a testament of creative interpretations; of living my highest truth. This is for my future self; to unleash what has been kept and to realize what lies ahead. This is for the Being who believed in me when the rest of the world doubted. For He who contradicts what others rendered to be true for them - that pursuing a career in the arts is frivolous and financially unsustainable. For He who trusted that I am enough; that there’s a future in the past. For He who taught me that life is one never-ending stream of pain, and to grow is not to find a way to avoid that stream but, rather, to dive into it and successfully navigate its depths. For He who accepted my flaws, understood my peculiar choices, and loved me unconditionally, as who I was, who I am, and who I could become. I am who I am today, not just because of me, but because of what you’d taught me. Loving your loss is the unconditional acceptance of all life and experience: the highs and the lows, the meaning and meaninglessness. It meant loving one’s pain; embracing one’s suffering. It meant closing the separation between one’s desires and reality, not by striving for more desires but simply desiring reality. And while art doesn’t put much food on the table, (not for all, at least) just as a tycoon in this Darwinian world of survivability and capitalism would, I’ll forever choose to be that soulful thriving artist. For I know that I am suffering for the right reasons.
