BRUCE'S COLUMN Written by District Governor Bruce Anderson
Welcome to the fifth DG’s Newsletter for the 2020 – 2021 Rotary Year, the year when “Rotary Opens Opportunities”. At the time of writing (November 3rd) we are getting closer to “freedom” from the COVID-19 travel restrictions from Melbourne, and hopefully closer to opening of the border with NSW. After this week we will have completed DG visits (by Zoom) to 55 clubs in total. Most of the eight remaining clubs should enjoy “in person” DG visits rather than Zoom if restrictions are removed and borders are opened. I might finally get to wear my official DG regalia! Marilyn and I will take every opportunity for the remainder of the Rotary Year to visit clubs in person, especially when a club is having a birthday or a special event.
