If you are a Small Business owner • Who runs the show if you are ill and unable to “work” for an extended period of time? • Even if you have insurance, it doesn’t account for new clients that you could have acquired during that time.


• Usually disability insurance covers “lost wages” • For some small business owners, we are not yet paying ourselves a wage…so insurance would be based on a % of zero! • Still have all the expenses to pay


Have no time off through work • What happens if you are too ill to go to work, but you haven’t reached the poverty level that would qualify you for MN Care or Medical Assistance?


• Health insurance is there when you are sick! • Best insurance is to do whatever it takes to be healthy.


• car insurance does not pay for maintaining your car… and Health insurance doesn’t pay for maintaining HEALTH! ** with the exception of the $20.00 a month reimbursement for gym fees!

What any Dr. would suggest‌.


Stop making excuses  Stop saying try…JUST DO IT  How successful would NIKE be with a slogan “I will try” – I don’t have time – I am too old – I have a bad knee, ankle, back etc.


• Before you eat or drink ANYTHING…

•STOP • Ask yourself what “nutritional value am I getting from this food or drink….


When you’re at a restaurant • Share your meal with someone else. • Understand the difference between – Hungry – Not full


MOVE MORE • The more you move, the more energy you will have…seems counterintuitive…. • Law of Physics… – An object in motion tends to stay in motion – An object at rest tends to remain at rest


Start taking care of your health NOW • And stop blaming genetics – Bruce Lipton Ph.D. • Stem Cell biologist

• 10% or less is genetic – Genes turn on and off based on the perceived environment


Don’t focus on weight loss… • Focus on being healthy – The fat will be “released” as a result – If you “lose weight”, you will often find it again! – “I am releasing fat” – Use your mind to your advantage, it’s very powerful.
