The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards brought major fashion cred to L.A. when originating here seven years ago, at the Sunset Tower Hotel. But now L.A. doesn’t need more fashion cred: Gucci, Celine, Versace, Louis Vuitton have showed here within the last year and a half, LV’s Nicolas Ghesquiere has a house here, Calvin Klein retired here – the awards show/cocktail hour brings pure unadulterated fashion fun. Where else could you see hundreds of fashion influencers – and would-be fashion influencers – partially dressed, blonde, be-jewelled, be-heeled, buffed – in one place? And that’s just the guys. The girls were showing more skin, from the top (decollete’) and bottom (mini mini skirts).
