Mitochondrial decline and disabled macroautophagy are hallmarks of aging
*Muscle function as a proxy for quality of life.
Earlier interventions are needed at a foundational level to maintain cellular energy and vitality.
is a highly pure form of Urolithin A, a postbiotic clinically shown to energize cells, increase muscle strength and improve endurance. It revitalizes mitochondria by triggering mitophagy, a vital cellular recycling mechanism responsible for maintaining optimal cellular function. 30s
Healthy cells rely on healthy mitochondria. Mitochondria are our cellular powerhouses and produce 90% the energy our bodies need. Their optimal function leads to incredible health benefits, and is particularly essential to heart, kidney, eye, brain and muscle function.

Brain Joints Gut Health Immune System Heart MuscleSupplementation with 500mg and 1000mg of Mitopure® in sedentary adults demonstrated similar mitochondrial activity to that of habitually active adults.
Mitopure® induced mitochondrial gene expression similar to aerobic exercise regimens.

Mitopure® provided a 6-fold increase of Urolithin A in the blood compared to pomegranate juice intake.

Middle-aged adults (ages 45-65 years) were supplemented with either 500mg or 1000mg of Mitopure® or a placebo for 4 months. The 500mg group saw a 12% increase in hamstring strength compared to placebo. The 1000mg group saw a 9.8% increase in hamstring strength, a 5.1% increase in grip strength, a 10% increases in peak VO2, and a 7% improvement in 6-minute walk test.
Both Mitopure® groups demonstrated improvements in biomarkers of cellular health and inflammation, including a reduction in CRP. No diet or exercise interventions were part of the study.

Older adults (ages 65-90 years) were supplemented with 1000mg of Mitopure® or placebo for 4 months.
The Mitopure® group saw improvements in 6-minute walk distance (increased 60.8 meters from baseline) compared to placebo.
The Mitopure® group saw significant improvements in muscle endurance, exemplified by an increase in the number of muscle contractions until fatigue from baseline in the first dorsal interosseus (FDI) and tibialis anterior (TA) at 2 months.
The Mitopure® group demonstrated improvements in biomarkers of cellular health and inflammation, including a reduction in CRP levels. Participants did not make changes to diet or exercise during the study. Click to go to: Liu et al. (2020) Effect of Urolithin A Supplementation on Muscle Endurance and Mitochondrial Health in
In middle-aged adults, administration of Mitopure® reduced plasma CRP levels at both 500mg and 1000mg doses. Statistically significant changes were seen with the 1,000 mg dose. In older adults, 1000 mg of Mitopure® significantly reduced levels of CRP.

Our clinical program goes beyond muscle to study the impact of Mitopure® on the immune system, skin, joints and brain health.
Additional clinical programs are planned with top investigators from top Universities such as Harvard, NorthWestern, UCLA and McGill Universities.
