Meet the Director
The Diocesan Choir ... Making Music to the Lord! For information call the Office of Worship Diocese of Rockville Centre 516-678-5800 ext. 504 Michael Wustrow became the director of the Diocesan Choir in 2004 succeeding its founding director, Msgr. Ronald Hayde. Mr. Wustrow is also Co-Director of Music at St. Agnes Cathedral, serving both the needs of the Cathedral parish, as well as the Diocesan Liturgies at the Cathedral. Mr. Wustrow has extensive experience as a Choral Conductor, as well as an Organist. He has performed organ recitals across the United States at venues in Washington D.C., San Francisco, and New York City, and performs regularly at St. Agnes Cathedral. As a choral clinician, he has presented workshops and choir festivals in Orlando, Milwaukee, Rochester, Pittsburgh, Dallas and Anaheim, as well as numerous appearances in the tri-state area. His reviews of choral music are published in Pastoral Music Magazine. Mr. Wustrow holds a degree in Music Education from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters Degree in Music from Yale University and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. He is currently the Chairperson of the Choir Director Standing Committee for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. He is on the National Board of Directors for the Director of Music Ministry Division of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, and is chairman of the Education Committee.

The Diosesan Choir Founded in 1991, the Diocesan Choir is comprised of dedicated singers who come from Catholic parishes throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Providing moving, harmonious choral music at Diocesan liturgical events such as ordinations of deacons, priests and bishops, as well as special liturgies for Advent and Lent, the choir breathes life and song into the practice of our Catholic faith.
