This trip takes us to Norfolk, Virginia, where we will attend the Virginia International Tattoo. After we arrive, we head out onto the Elizabeth River onboard the Spirit of Norfolk for a lunch cruise. Enjoy a wonderful lunch as we cruise past the mighty Atlantic Fleet of the US Navy. This afternoon, we attend the Tattoo Hullabaloo, an open-air event held on Scope Plaza offering a variety of tasty foods, craft beers, music, dance, drill performances, and photo-ops with performers. In addition, today is the NATO Flag Raising ceremony, a colorful display of NATO Member Nation Flags and uniforms in this military presentation representing all 29 NATO Member Nations. Then, experience the main event: the Virginia International Tattoo performance. See pageantry and patriotism, spirit and spectacle, talent and teamwork, and precision personified! Before we head for home, we travel to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens for a relaxing tram ride through 155-acres of rare flowers and fauna.
