This trip to the wild west includes many interesting and fun stops along the way. This is one of the most unique travel experiences you will ever encounter!

We begin our trip by traveling across Georgia and Alabama until we reach Tupelo, Mississippi, also known as the birthplace of Elvis Presley! We will spend the night here and then continue on into the Ozark Mountains and arrive in Branson, Missouri for a dinner cruise. Our next stop is Bentonville, home to the founder of Walmart, Sam Walton. Then, we travel to Oklahoma to the small town of Pawhuska, home of the “Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond, where lunch and shopping is included at her Mercantile. Finally, we head to Dodge City, Kansas, one of the most infamous and rowdy towns of the wild west! We might want to pull out some old episodes of “Gunsmoke” to relive those colorful days as we visit the Boot Hill Museum. As we travel across Kansas and into Colorado, we stop in Pueblo to hop on a riverboat for a short cruise on the Arkansas River along the city’s River Walk. After arriving in Colorado Springs, we drive through the amazing Garden of the Gods, a 1,350-acre parkland filled with sandstone formations that have been carved by erosion into unusual sculptures. Then, we drive to Royal Gorge, a canyon carved out by the Arkansas River 1,000 feet below. The rest of this day is highlighted by a visit to the Flying W Ranch before we head back home.
