Our trip begins in North Georgia when we arrive in the apline village of Helen, the third most visited town in the state. After our arrival, we make our way to Hiawassee for the beginning of this fun and entertaining music festival. Enjoy the performers, the exhibits, and the food at Land Fest 2022. The next day, we will spend some time in Helen with the opportunity to browse around the different shops located along the Chattahoochee River. Then, we head to Dillard, Georgia for a nice dinner. Save your appetite as we sit down to a family-style lunch at the famous Dillard House. Later in the afternoon, we arrive in Hiawassee for another session of Landfest and the scheduled entertainers and gospel groups that will perform. After we depart Helen, we travel to the historic town of Dahlonega, the site of America’s first gold rush. Here, we spend some time in town before lunch at the Smith House, a highly acclaimed restaurant noted for its’ southern cuisine.
