This trip takes us along the Mississippi River to Natchez, one of the state’s many historic cities where we will tour many of the sights and beautiful Antebellum homes.

On this trip, we venture west through Georiga and Alabama to the beautiful and historic state of Mississippi. We will spend a good portion of our trip in Vicksburg, the historic city in which was a crucial part of the American Civil War, the War Between the States. The city is high above the river and because of its location, it has monitored and guarded the movement along the Mississippi River. A local guide will join us for a tour of the town and the battlefield. Then, we will travel to the quaint town of Natchez for a chance to tour some of the beautiful Antebellum mansions in the area such as Rosalie and Longwood. We will be spending two nights in Natchez during their Spring Pilgrimage. Then, we make our way to Alabama to Bellingrath Gardens which will be in full bloom, with gorgeous azaleas everywhere. Wander the gardens and admire the myriad of flowers including easter lilies, fuchsia, hydrangeas, marguerite daisies, and much more. Don’t forget to check out Bellingrath’s award-winning Rose Garden! Finally, we head to Mobile, Alabama before our journey back home. Don’t miss out on this exciting trip!
