New England, that part of our country with such a distinctive accent and unique customs, and we are a part of the experience. Don’t miss out on this one!

Our trip begins in Boston, the most famous city in New England. We will see the location of the Boston Tea Party and follow the Freedom Trail. We spend one of the days driving to the Pilgrim town of Plymouth where we will visit Plimoth Plantation, a recreated 17th century pilgrim village and working museum. Then, we will explore Historic Patuxet, a recreated Native American village and learn about the Native peoples who have lived here. The next day will be spent at Martha’s Vineyard, where we will begin our tour at Oaks Bluff. Our tour by local bus shows us the cranberry bogs and picturesque cottages of the island’s inhabitants. Afterwards, we take a beautiful, scenic drive out to the very tip of the crooked-finger strip of land that forms the Cape to Provincetown, where we will enjoy a New England clambake. We will enjoy a tour of Newport, the resort coastal town that was a favorite playground for the rich and famous before heading to the Hudson River Valley of New York. The following day, we will continue into Pennsylvania to Amish Country and enjoy a local tour, a delicious meal, and a musical production of the Broadway hit “Chicago” at the Dutch Apple Theatre. Before returning home, we spend our last day in the Amish country again, enjoying more local tours and a kick back dinner at The Drury Hotel.
