EARLY AUTUMN IN NEW ENGLAND

September 16 - 25 | Single: $3,039.00 | Double: $2,299.00 | Trip #15011

Join us on this exciting trip to New England during early Autumn! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful regions in the country.

The activities begin in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Here, our group will enjoy an Amish dinner and tour. The next day, we make a stop in historic Valley Forge Park before continuing on past New York and into Connecticut. Then finally, we arrive in Maine. Here, we see Kennebunkport and view former President George Bush’s home, a fortress jutting out into a rocky harbor. With time for lunch and shopping, we depart in mid-afternoon for one of Maine’s most picturesque coastal villages, Boothbay Harbor where we will enjoy a traditional lobster bake for dinner. We spend the next day enjoying the fishing village of Boothbay, full of specialty and craft shops. We board a sightseeing boat for a harbor cruise that shows us the many vacation retreats in the area. Then, we travel across the lake region of Maine into the White Mountains of New Hampshire before stopping in Burlington, Vermont. Here, we visit the famous Vermont Teddy Bear Company before boarding the Ethan Allen II for a delightful luncheon cruise on Lake Champlain. Our afternoon highlight is a visit to the famed Shelburne Museum. Towards the end of our trip, we travel down to New York for a stop at West Point before making our way through the Shenandoah Valley, where we will enjoy an evening of food and entertainment at the Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre before returning home.
