After our flight to Seattle, we hop on a ferry and cross the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Vancouver Island. We will enjoy a narrated history tour of this Victorian English city, pointing out many interesting and lovely sights. Then, we enjoy one of the main highlights of this tour as we visit Butchart Gardens, one of the world’s foremost floral wonders with eye-stopping landscapes in every hue. Afterwards, we head to the mainland of British Columbia. We climb high into the Canadian Rockies to see the spectacular scenery as we wind our way through valleys and around towering peaks. Our adventure ends in Banff, Alberta, a village nestled high up in the mountains. Then, we begin a spectacular drive from Banff along the scenic Ice Fields Parkway with glaciers rising on both sides of the roadway. This day is full of excitement as our group rides a snow coach on the Athabascha Glacier at the Columbia Icefields. The next day, we take a breathtaking tour of Bow Falls and spend some time exploring its’ shops and restaurants. Our descent of the Rockies takes us through the Avalanche Trail of Rogers Pass and into the fertile Okanagan Valley before re-entering the United States into Washington. We cross the mountains through Snoqualmie Pass and arrive in the Emerald City of Seattle before returning home. Don’t miss out on this trip!
