This trip includes so much! Amish tours and food, a visit to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., and the inspiration of the new stage production of “DAVID”.
After traveling to North Carolina to stay for our first night, we finally make it to Washington, D.C., where we will visit the newest and most inspirational attraction that the city has to offer, The Museum of the Bible. It will provide guests with an immersive and personalized experience as they explore the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible, using cutting-edge technology to bring the Bible to life. Afterwards, we travel to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for a two-night stay. During our stay in Lancaster, a local guide shows us around this interesting and inspirational part of America. We will witness fertile farmlands, homes with no electricity, and clothes hanging out to dry. After our tour, we experience the highlight of our trip when we take our seats at the Sight & Sound Theatre to see the newest mega production of “DAVID”. This beautiful musical portrays a young boy chosen by God to do mighty things and rule as king. After the show, we take our seats to feast on a delicious Amish dinner at one of the local Amish restaurants. On our journey home, we pass through the Shenandoah Valley. We arrive in Wytheville, Virginia, where we will spend our last night and celebrate our trip with dinner and a show at the Wohlfahrt Haus. Don’t miss out on this trip!
