Why:
I believe Everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their passion. That there needs to be viable, affordable, and driven alternatives to college education and the mountain of debt it places on its users. I want new innovators and inventors with a driven soul to have a place to work that breaks the mold from traditional career paths. A place where they work for themselves and bring their own ideas to life with their own two hands. A place where like minded souls gather and collaborate openly to better each other the same way a community works together for the betterment of itself. I believe that the right tools make jobs go faster and improve the result. I want a workspace with the newest technology available to the public that would not be able to work with or own the equipment on their own. Workspace that offers training and classes on equipment, methods, and technique. Traditional methods would force these people into a work field under someone else’s vision and agenda for the experience to operate and become compatible with each piece of machinery or program, or high cost college institutions would force students to take prerequisite courses before offering their preferred courses.
How:
I would offer a new lifestyle. One that fully emerges each member into the lifestyle that is solely focused on creating and achieving the product or vision they chose. A co-working office space that gives the same amenities as the Forbes 500 companies that all members share and take part in. Spaces to meet with clients/investors, workshops to create prototypes, private offices and storage spaces to store products, onsite dining options for convenience, and An apartment located onsite to promote members to focus on their work and achieve their dreams quicker by eliminating commuting time. A space that members can live/work/play/eat at while bringing outsiders in with its close proximity to a major public transit line, the allure of reconnecting people with the waterfront, and large event space to connect to two groups.
What: Maker/Hackerspace for entrepreneurs, innovators, and inventors. CoWorking Office to promote startups and new businesses. Micro Apartment tower to maximize density.
Riverfront Campus with a regenerative design promoting collaboration of diverse groups. Pushing the Makerspace to the next step by incorporating a CoWorking office space integrated within the program. Bringing design, prototyping, manufacturing, marketing, research, planning, fundraising, legal, and accounting under one roof to increase production and efficiency. To further push the program, fully incorporating the Work/Live model to the campus by mixing in a Live/Play into the program. Providing residents, workers, and city dwellers interior/exterior spaces to network and enjoy the waterfront.

Hammock grove provides users a comfortable seating option in the summer months.
Outdoor amphitheater with built in seating or a tree shaded hillside to enjoy shows.
Remote picnic and firepit seating area away from street but next to a restaurarnt space for outdoor dining.
Sculptural light overhead to move pedestrians across the site and to act as an entry for motorists.
Filtered river water allows Philadelphians to swim in Philadelphia Rivers. Based off +Pools system in NYC.
Spalsh park plaza and fountain welcome communters tot the site with a playful interaction and long gesture to the river.
Ramped hillside creates a pavillon on the street for pedestrians to check up on the buildings sustainable systems.
Boat pond and little islands for families to enjoy have taken the front half of the Oval.
Loading dock turn radius is primarily used as a duel court basketball arena that offer players great views of the bridge and skyline.
Service road ramps down and dives under the building to conceal trash and deliveries from the park.
New Boardwalk lets people to get out over the river. Also offers a nice water taxi pickup for the Camden Rivershark Games.
