I am incredibly honored to step into the role as your 2024-2025 Dublin Chamber board president. My journey with Dos Hermanos Taco Truck has taught me the value of community and partnership, and I am eager to serve the Dublin Chamber and its member businesses.

Business in the News

City of Dublin Acquires Land for Growth

Dublin has purchased 243 acres in the West Innovation District for $44.6 million, including SportsOhio and Carter Farms. This acquisition will drive economic development, improve transportation, and expand recreational facilities. It also includes plans for a future passenger rail station as part of the Amtrak expansion.

the Memorial Tournament Presented by Workday

the Memorial Tournament, hosted by Jack Nicklaus, will be held from May 26 - June 1, 2025, at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The event features top-tier golf, fan activities, and charitable contributions, supporting Greater Columbus charities including the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Dublin City Council Approves Film Studio Development

Dublin City Council has approved an agreement with Fallback Studios to establish a motion picture studio. The project includes a 250,000-squarefoot facility with film stages and a state-of-the-art LED volume wall. Fallback Studios will invest over $20 million, creating 21 jobs initially, with plans to expand to 49 by 2031. The $240,000 incentive package supports sustainability and connectivity goals.

Sedgwick: Understanding Workers’ Comp & EMR

An employer’s Experience Modification Rate (EMR), set by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, affects workers’ compensation premiums. A lower EMR results in reduced premiums. Safer operations and fewer claims improve EMR. For claim management, contact Sedgwick program manager David Deyo at 614-376-5401.

Adobe’s Tech Strategies for Small Business

Small and mid-sized businesses can enhance competitiveness by adopting digital tools like PDFs for secure sharing, AI for operations and marketing, mobile apps for customer engagement, and cloud computing for scalability. These strategies drive innovation and improve business operations.
